Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) ada tidaknya pengaruh musik iringan ibadah
impresif terhadap jumlah jemaat GKI Gejayan dan (2) seberapa besar pengaruh musik iringan
ibadah impresif terhadap jumlah jemaat yang hadir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode
penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah
jemaat ibadah impresif yang berjumlah 1800. Penentuan jumlah anggota sampel dalam penelitian
ini yaitu dengan mengambil 10% dari populasi atau 180 jemaat yang diambil dengan
menggunakan teknik random sampling. Validitas instrumen dilakukan dengan uji ahli (ekspert
judgment) dan uji korelasi.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi product
moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Terdapat pengaruh antara musik iringan ibadah
impresif terhadap jumlah jemaat di GKI Gejayan yang dibuktikan berdasarkan hasil angket, yaitu
27% menyatakan sangat setuju, 64% menyatakan setuju, 8% menyatakan tidak setuju dan 1%
yang menyatakan sangat tidak setuju, (2) Musik ibadah impresif memiliki pengaruh terhadap
jumlah jemaat di GKI yang dinyatakan dengan besar nilai koefisien determinan (r) sebesar 0,55
atau sebesar 55%, sedangkan 45% dipengaruhi faktor-faktor lainnya.

Abstract
This study aims to determine (1) whether there is influence of musical accompaniment to the
impressive religious congregation of GKI Gejayan and (2) how much influence the impressive
worship music accompaniment to the number of the congregation. This research uses quantitative
research to study the method of correlation. The population in this study is impressive, amounting
to worship the church in 1800. Determination of the number of members sample in this study is to
take 10% of the population or 180 congregetions drawn using random sampling techniques. The
validity of the instrument is done by testing expert (expert judgment) and korelasi.The data was
analyzed by correlation of product moment. The results showed: (1) There is the influence of the
musical accompaniment to the impressive number of churches worship at the GKI Gejayan as
evidenced by the results of the questionnaire, which 27% said strongly agree, 64% agree, 8% did
not agree and 1% said very agree, (2) an impressive worship music has an influence on the
amount of the GKI church at large represented by the determinant coefficient (r ) of 0.55 or

by 55%, while 45% influenced by other factors.
