MESIN REAPER

Mesin pemanen reaper dipakai untuk memanen tanaman biji-bijian seperti :

Padi, Gandum, Sorgum dan sebagainya. Prinsip kerjanya mirip dengan cara kerja orang
panen menggunakan sabit. Mesin ini sewaktu bergerak maju akan menerjang dan
memotong tegakan tanaman dan menjatuhkan atau merobohkan tanaman tersebut
kearah samping (mesin REAPER) dan ada pula yang mengikat tanaman yang terpotong
menjadi seperti berbentuk sapu lidi ukuran besar (mesin REAPER BINDER). Hasil
panen yang direbahkan menggunakan mesin reaper ini selanjutnya akan dilepaskan dari
batangnya menggunakan perkakas atau mesin tertentu (misalnya thresher). Karena ada
banyak jenis dan tipe mesin reaper yang beredar dipasaran dan masing-masing
mempunyai keunggulan dan kelebihan, maka setiap produsen atau pabrikan mesin
reaper selalu menyertakan buku tentang : (1) petunjuk operasional; (2) leaflet atau
booklet; (3) daftar suku cadang dan atau alamat agen purna jual; serta informasiinformasi lain yang berkaitan dengan mesin tersebut.
Buku petunjuk Operasional ini disusun untuk memberikan informasi dasar (prinsip)
tentang : pengoperasian, pemeliharaan dan perawatan yang umum dijumpai pada mesin
pemanen reaper.
Tipe Mesin Reaper
Tipe ukuran mesin reaper ditentukan dari lebar kerjanya. Tipe dengan lebar kerja
satu meter biasanya mempunyai 3 alur (row). Terdapat 3 jenis tipe mesin reaper yaitu :
(a) reaper 3 row; (b) reaper 4 row; dan (c) reaper 5 row. Didasarkan kepada jenis
transmisi traktor penggeraknya terdapat dua jenis yaitu:
a. Sistem copot-gandeng (hitching)
b.
Sistem gerak mandiri (self propeler)

Bagian keseluruhan mesin reaper dapat dicopot dan digandengkan terhadap
transmisi penggeraknya. Transmisi penggeraknya berupa box transmisi traktor tangan
lengkap dengan enjin-nya. Traktor tangan ini mempunyai fungsi ganda yaitu dapat
dipakai sebagai traktor pengolah tanah dan dapat dipakai sebagai penggerak mesin
reaper. Pada tipe ini gerak pisau reaper terhubung langsung ke puli poros transmisi.
Dengan demikian setiap kali kopling penegang sabuk diaktifkan akan memberikan
reaksi gerak maju roda dan sekaligus gerak pisau pemotong. Gerakan pisau dapat dinon-aktifkan dengan melepas sabuk puli penghubung ke pisau, hal ini dilakukan saat
mesin reaper dibawa kelapangan (transpormasi). Saat akan beroperasi, sabuk puli
penghubung ke pisau dipasang kembali. Jenis reaper seperti ini tidak mempunyai
fasilitasi gerakan mundur.
b. Sistem gera mandiri (self propeler)
Keseluruhan mesin reaper merupakan suatu unit kesatuan utuh terhadap box
transmisi traktor penggeraknya (tidak dapat dipisah-pisahkan) dan memang dirancang
khusus sebagai mesin reaper. Pada umumnya jenis reaper seperti ini komponen
transmision box dilengkapi dengan fasilitasi gerakan mundur. Terdapat dua buah handel
tuas kopling kanan dan kiri di stang kemudinya. Handel tuas kopling sebelah kanan
dipakai untuk mengontrol gerak roda. Handel tuas kopling sebelah kiri dipakai untuk
mengotrol gerak pisau reaper.

MACHINE REAPER
Used reaper harvester for harvesting grain crops such as rice, wheat, sorghum

machine will move forward when lunging and cut stands of plants and dropping or
knocking down the plant to one side ( engine REAPER ) and some are binding plants
cut into sticks shaped like large size ( engine REAPER BINDER ). Yields were put

Engine type Reaper
Type of engine size is determined from the width of his reaper. Type with a
working width of 3 meters usually have a groove ( row ). There are 3 types reaper
machine namely: ( a) the reaper 3 row; ( b ) reaper 4 row, and ( c ) the reaper 5 row.
Based on the type of driving a tractor transmission, there are two types:
a. System - trailer dislodged ( hitching )
b . Motion system independent (self propeller )

Overall reaper machine parts can be removed and is coupled to the transmission
driving . Transmission driving a tractor transmission box with a hand. This hand tractor

not facilitated the retreat.

Overall reaper machine is a unified whole unit to the transmission box tractor
driving ( can not be separated ) and was designed specifically as a reaper machine. In
general, this kind of reaper like transmision box components equipped with the
facilitation of the retreat . There are two handles right and left of the clutch lever on the
handlebar steering. Handel right side clutch lever is used to control the motion of the
wheel. Handel left of the clutch lever is used to control the motion of the blade reaper.
