He was ready. He had a job to do. Eatlier in the evening, he had
thrown a brick at the window and broke the windowpane. Nobody saw
him.
Al 12 midnight, he came back to the house. The owner had not
fepaired the broken window. He was dressed in black. He canied a
sack over his shoulder and wore a mask over his eyes. The house was in
darkness. He managed to open the window through the broken glass.
He climbed through the window.

the torch and switched it on. There was no light. He looked inside the
