Tutorial Cacti

Cacti adalah software network monitoring yang sangat banyak dipakai

dikalangan institusi maupun corporasi. Cacti menyediakan layanan yang lengkap grafik
yang mudah untuk dianalisis karena cacti mempunyai database untuk pembentukan
grafik tersebut. Proses penginstalan cacti adalah sebagai berikut :Lengkapi depedensi
cacti sebagai berikut:
• Cacti-0.8.7e
• Rrdtool-1.2.15-
• Net-snmp-5.4.2.1
• notepad-Plus.v5.9.6 untuk mengedit file php
• xampp-win32-1.7.1 (apache, mySql, phpmyadmin)

- install xampp dan ikuti petunjuk wizard dari windows

 - tunggu sampai proses install xampp selesai…
- copy folder cacti ke direktori ‘cacti’ C:\ > xampp > htdoc. Dan rename folder
0.8.7e’ menjadi

- Install Net-SNMP dan ikuti instruksi wizard. Setelah proses instalasi selesai,
pastikan terdapat folder ‘usr’ di direktori c:\

 - Copy paste folder rrdtool ke direktori c:\ . rename menjadi ‘rrdtool’

- Pastikan terdapat 3 folder utama pada direktori C: ‘rrdtool’ , ‘usr’ , dan ‘xampp’
yang terdapat folder ‘cacti’ di subfolder ‘htdoc’.
- Buka browser, dan ketikan ‘localhost’ pada address bar

 - Pilih bahasa (English), lalu masuk ke menu status, pastikan statusnya seperti

- Masuk ke menu phpmyadmin untuk create database cacti. Beri nama

databasenya dengan nama cacti :

 - Import database cacti di folder C:\xampp\htdoc\cacti dengan nama ‘cacti.sql’

- Klik tab previladge, pastikan terlihat seperti gambar dibawah ini :

 - Klik ‘edit privilege’ dengan cara klik gambar orang di kolom ‘action’ , set
Password

- Setelah set password dan klik execute , tekan F5 dan akan muncul :

 - Kemudian buka menggunakan notepad++ file bernama ‘cacati.inc’ yang terletak
di C:\xampp\phpmyadmin. Lalu edit ‘authentication type and info’ seperti gambar
dibawah, lalu ‘save’:

 - Edit file yang bernama ‘config’ dengan menggunakan notepad++,C:\xampp\htdocs\cacti
‘database_password’ sesuai keinginan kita. Pada tugas akhir ini username : ‘admin’
password: ‘admin’

 - Buka browser, dan ketikkan localhost/cacti. Akan keluar proses instalasi cacti.
Ikuti petunjuk. ’next’

 - New installation > next > . ganti directory PHP Binnary Path menjadi
C:\xampp\php\php.exe

 - Klik finish. Setelah itu masukkan username dan password yang telah di tentukan
sebelumnya. Login>’set new password’>save

 - Hasil konfiguransi cacti yang saya buat seperti ini

- Selesailah sudah konfiguransi saya….untuk bisa menampilkan grafik pada cacti yang tidak
member contohnya…karna konfiguransi cacti untuk grafik sangatlah mudag..yang ribet ialah
instalansi cactinya…selamat belajar….Tuhan Yesus Memberkati Saudara-Saudari….ilmu
sangatlah gampang kalau mau di pelajari..wkwkkwkw
