Gili Trawangan
Gili is derived from Sasak language (Lombok Island native tribal language) which
means small island. Actually there are several Gili / dykes around the island of Lombok,
yet there are three dykes that are known by tourists, namely Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and
Gili Meno.
Among the three dykes, the Gili Trawangan is the largest, well-known and the most
complete amenities. Gili Trawangan is located in the northwest of the island of Lombok.

Last holiday, my family and I had a tour to Tana Toraja. It’s a highland region in
the province of South Sulawesi.
Since it is on a highland, the weather is really cool. We were enjoying the

Then we visited a unique grave. It is on a cliff with a balcony where coffins of

Lightning is a sudden, violent flash of electricity between a cloud and the ground, or

A lightning flash, or bolt, can be several miles long. It is so hot, with an averange

CHAMELEONS
There are 80 different types of chameleons in the world, most of which
are to be found in Africa, south of Sahara desert. The common chameleon
ranges from the Middle East, along the Nort Africa coast to southern Spain.
The chameleon is a slow-moving lizard which huts for insects among
trees and undergrowth. One of its peculiar features is its eyes, which are set in
two conical sockets and can move independently of one another. This enables
the chameleon to look behind with one eye and in front with the other.
Chameleons are well-known for their ability to change colour. The skin

I am so glad that today is over. So many things have gone wrong. For
some reasons I didn’t sleep a wink last night. I was very tired when Mom called
me this morning. I fell asleep again until Mom called me again. The snooze made
me late.

I did not have time for breakfast. I was starving as I ran to catch the
school bus. I just missed it. Dad had to ride me to school. He was late for
teaching at his school and he was furious with me. He scolded me for being late.

I could arrive at school on time. The teacher asked us to hand in our
