How To Use an ATM Machine

Withdrawing cash with an ATM Card


Steps:
1. Prepare your ATM card before you go to the ATM.
2. Go to nearby ATM station or an ATM centre.
3. Read the directions to insert the ATM card into the machine.
4. Put your card into the slot. Choose a language, Bahasa Indonesia or English.
5. Enter your personal identification number (PIN).
6. When the choices appear, select “withdrawal from checking.” Enter the
amount that you want to withdraw.
7. Wait for the ATM machine to process.
8. When your money appears, take it.
9. When the machine asks if you ask if you are finished, press “yes”.

Fried Tofu in Chili Soy Sauce


(Tahu Gejrot Cirebon)
Serves: 4
Ingredients: Grind the following into spice paste:
10 deep fried tofu 2 green Thai chilies
200 ml water 1 shallot
50 ml sweet soy sauce 1 clove garlic
25 gr palm sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vinegar

Steps:
1. Cut each tofu into four pieces. Place cut tofu in a shallow serving bowl and set aside.
2. In a small saucepan, boil together the spice paste, water, sweet soy sauce, palm
sugar, salt and vinegar. Reduce heat and simmer them for 2 minutes.
3. Pour the sauce on top of the tofu and serve immediately.

The Origin of The City of Banyuwangi
Long time ago in West Java, lived a woman named Dayang Sumbi. She lived alone in
the forest.

One day Dayang Sumbi was quilting when suddenly, her quilt fell off from her house.
Then she prayed to Gods, “If a man picks up my quilt, he will be my husband. If a woman,
she will be my sister.” Then, a male dog picked it up. For keeping her words, Dayang
Sumbi married the dog and call him Tumang. Dayang Sumbi gave birth to a baby, named
him Sangkuriang, but never told him who his father was.
One day, Sangkuriang was hunting with Tumang in the forest and he found nothing.
He blamed Tumang for the failure and killed him. When Dayang Sumbi knew that, she hit
Sangkuriang’s head with a big spoon and asked him to go.
Many years later, the wandering Sangkuriang found a house in the forest, and old
beautiful woman was in the house. The woman, Dayang Sumbi, recognized the adventurer
as Sangkuriang. Sangkuriang forced her to marry him and Dayang Sumbi asked him to
make a vast boat in one night. In the night, Sangkuriang called his friends, ghosts and
forest fairies to help him. Dayang Sumbi fered the boat could be finished on time, so she
asked some women nearby to help her. The woman hit the grains with grain puncher to
make noise which disturbed the ghosts and the fairies. The ghosts and fairies ran away
before completing the boat. Sangkuriang was very angry. He kicked the boat upside down,
and it turned into a mountain called Tangkuban Perahu. It means the downside boat, which
stood in the north of Bandung.

Just then a fairy godmother came. With her magic wand, she gave Cinderella a
coach, two horses and footmen. She also gave Cinderella a lovely dress to wear to the
ball and a pair of glass slippers. She told Cinderella to come home before midnight
because the magic would only last until midnight.
At the ball, Cinderella danced all night with the Prince. The Prince fell in love
with her. At midnight, Cinderella ran home when she heard the sound of the clock’s
bell. Unfortunately, one of her slippers slipped off at the door. She did not have time to
put it back on. The Prince was sad as he could not find Cinderella again that night.

The next day, the Prince and his men brought along the glass slipper. They went
all over the Kingdom to search for the owner.
After searching for a long time, finally, they came to Cinderella’s house. The
slipper fit her. The Prince was very happy to find Cinderella again. They got married
and lived happily ever after.

1. Take a shoebox without the lid.
2. Draw out a fishing boat on the cardboard and cut it.
3. Use glazed paper in different colors to stick on the cardboard so that it looks bright
and colorful.
4. Stick the boat on one side of the shoebox. Your letter holder is ready.
