Dodola Island is located in the western part of the Morotai Island, North Maluku district
to the northern tip of the Halmahera Island. Morotai Islands is well-known as the outermost
regions because it is situated on the edge of the Pacific.
Dodola Island is a real paradise with the beauty of the beach is very tempting. It is not
surprise because the island becomes an icon of Morotai which is surrounded by huge white sand
to connect Big Dodola Island and Small Dodola Island. The fine sand looks like flour and that
is why local residents love to visit it. The echo of island is also more spreading nowadays. The
trail that connects Big and Small Dodola Island is white sand.
The sand stretches and creates outline pattern which is look so amazing. The outlines
made by wind and wave of water. It will take 5 minutes to walk from Big Dodola to Small
Dodola. You will see coral reefs and seaweed when the tide low, but you will see two islands
when the tide high and it looks like a strait. Probably you will surprise knowing that Dodola
Island is a reason why tourists visit Morotai. The panorama and its view are so fantastic. You
can explore all of the edge of island.
In Dodola Island, you can do many activities and mostly has relation to water sport, such
as fishing, swimming, sun bathing, snorkelling, jet-ski, or just laying on fine sand. As an exotic
island, most of visitor prefers to come as a backpacker because they can explore and doing
activities as much as they want. But, the most popular activity you can do in Dodola Island is
snorkelling.

When you arrived at Babullah Airport Ternate, you can start your journey to explore the city.
Lately, concerns have arisen that Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia, and its immediate
surroundings are threatened to experience a clean water crisis by 2025. Clean water, which is
produced by two private operators – PAM Lyonnaise Jaya (Palyja) and Aetra Air Jakarta –
currently totals 18.7 m3 per second. However, by 2025, demand for clean water will reach
41.3 m3/second as the population of Jakarta is estimated to grow to 14.6 million people from
9.6 million currently (the unofficial figure is possibly much higher).
It has been reported that city-owned property developer Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro)
and city-owned developer Pembangunan Jaya will acquire a combined 100 percent stake in
Palyja. If the Jakarta administration has a direct stake in the city water operators, it will
increase public supervision on the local clean water industry.
PAM Lyonnaise Jaya, which manages the clean water supply in the west side of Jakarta,
is a private water operator that is partly controlled by Astra International through its subsidiary
Astratel Nusantara. Palyja has been active in Jakarta for about 16 years. However, last year a
law suit was filed demanding that the court will annul the agreement between city water
operator PAM Jaya and Palyja and Aetra Air Jakarta (Aetra) claiming that public access to
affordable clean water has been hindered.
Based on information from the World Bank, Indonesia plans to achieve universal clean
water access by 2019 but almost half of the population still do not have access to clean water
at present.
Indonesian Tourism Industry Association (GIPI) Bali is offering free accommodation for stranded
tourists at the Ngurah Rai International Airport Bali that has been closed since Nov. 27 due to
volcanic ash from Mount Agung.
“Not a single tourist should stay overnight at the airport, GIPI Bali together with Badung regional
administration is providing free accommodation for tonight and tomorrow, if the airport remains
closed,” said GIPI Bali head, Gus Agung
“We’ve set aside two billion rupiahs for two nights, one room is allocated for two guests,” Gus
added.
In the era of social media, Gus Agung mentioned, unsatisfied tourists are free to express their
frustrations. “But if they are served well with respect, they will also post their happiness amid the
panicky situation,” he added.
Tourism minister Arief Yahya praised GIPI Bali for initiative, “What is being done by the Badung
regency and GIPI Bali is very good. This is what we call a long-term investment,” he said.
The two billion rupiahs is relatively small compared to Badung’s average Locally-Generated
Income (PAD) in a year that is at seven trillion rupiahs.

When we had a holiday last year, my family and I went to a place at the seaside and
borrowed a boat from one of our friends. We sailed and finished on the sea all day.
When the sea was rough, we sailed on a small lake near the sea instead. There were not
many fish in the lake, but in the sea we caught a lot with a hook, line and small pieces of
bread.
When the weather was fine, we collected pieces of dried wood and fired or grilled our fish
over them on the beach.
(Djakarta Post, 24/10/2017) The Batam International Open Piano Competition 2017 event
officially ended on Oct.22. The two-day event’s closing featured performances from the
winners. The competition managed to attract participants from countries such as Malaysia,
Singapore, China and Vietnam, as well as participants from different cities in Indonesia.
The event’s committee head Eleanora Aprilita explained that the event aims to facilitate
young pianists to compete and form a community of young talented pianists as well as
supporting the Wonderful Indonesia programme.
One visitor named Hoai Dhang Thanh flew from Vietnam to accompany his son, Bamboo,
who was a participant and fifth spot winner of the competition. “This is my first time coming
to Batam and Indonesia. I’ve heard a lot of things about Bali and I will go there someday,”
Hoai said, adding that since there is no direct flight yet from Ho Chi Minh to Batam, they had
to travel to Singapore first in order to get to Batam.
According to Tourism Ministry’s Archipelago Tourism Marketing Development Deputy Eshty
Reko Astuti, Batam is in the third position in the list of cities in Indonesia that welcome the
largest number of tourists, right after Bali and Jakarta. “Batam contributes 20 percent from
the total number of international tourists who visit Indonesia, this is why we are supporting
this event to be held in Batam,” said Eshty. Additionally, Batam is closely located to
Singapore and Malaysia.
48. Why does Batam become the top three of tourist destination in Indonesia?

The stomach is the first stop in the process of food digestion. The inner walls of the
stomach, also called stomach lining, are bathed in about a gallon of stomach acid digestive
enzymes.
Gastritis occurs when the stomach lining is irritated, inflamed or infected. Usually, a
person with gastritis will feel some cramps and pains in the middle or left upper belly, just
under the ribs. Other symptoms include nausea and vomiting, bloating and belching. A
wound in the stomach is called a gastric ulcer and it causes more pain than ordinary gastritis.
Blood may appear in vomit or stool. This loss of blood may cause anemia which will
weaken, tire and daze the person. When there is an inflection, there’s usually a fever.
It caused to be thought that the causes of gastritis are spicy food, alcohol and lifestyle
related factors like stress, along with some long-term painkillers and anti inflammation drugs
like aspirin and ibuprofen, but in the early eighties, a bacterium called
Helicobacterpylori was found to be responsible for most cases of gastritis and gastric
ulcer. These bacteria are not killed by stomach acid because they live within the gel-
like mucus membrane that protects the stomach from its own acid. A clever mechanism
has also been developed to neutralize by a product of gases. These bacteria enter the body
via contaminated food and water, but can still be eliminated with the right antibodies.
