ABSTRAK

Sejarah merupakan bagian dari sebuah realitas sosial yang ada di dalam
kehidupan masyrakat sehingga tidak aneh jika peristiwa sejarah digunakan
sebagai inspirasi bagi para pengarang. Terlebih lagi peristiwa sejarah yang sangat
besar dan fenomenal seperti masa kolonial Belanda di Indonesia. Penciptaan karya
sastra tidak akan pernah lepas dari realitas kehidupan sosial manusia. Oleh sebab
itu, sastra sejarah hadir sebagai salah satu bentuk karya sastra yang mengulas
realitas sosial masa lalu yang digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dan hiburan
bagi setiap pembaca. Untuk menemukan unsur sejarah khususnya pada peristiwa-
peristiwa sepanjang masa kolonial Belanda di dalam cerpen tersebut maka
dibuatlah penelitian dengan judul “Refleksi Sejarah dalam Kumpulan Cerpen
Semua Untuk Hindia karya Iksaka Banu”. Metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan
historis digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga
menggunakan teori sosiologi sastra khususnya sosiologi karya untuk
menghubungkan unsur intrinsik cerpen dengan fakta sejarah. Dari penelitian ini
dihasilkan penjelasan tentang bentuk-bentuk refleksi yang mengafirmasi fakta
sejarah di dalam cerpen dan penegasian superioritas Barat sebagai tujuan
perefleksian tersebut. Dengan demikian kumpulan cerpen Semua untuk Hindia
karya Iksaka Banu dapat digunakan sebagai contoh penulisan karya sastra sejarah
yang baik sebab peristiwa sejarah diproses bersama imajinasi pengarang tanpa
keluar dari konteks realita yang ada.

 ABSTRACT

History is a part of a social reality in the lifes of people, so it is not strange

if historical events used as inspiration for the author. Morever, a very large
historical events and phenomenal as Netherlands colonial period in Indonesia.
The creation of literary works will never escape from the reality of human social
life. Thus, the literary history of the present as a form of literary works that
examine the social reality of the past which is used as a medium of learning and
entertainment for every reader. A collection of short stories from Semua untuk
Hindia who raised historical events as its main theme. To find elements of history,
especially, especially at events troughout the colonial period in the Netherlands,
the short story was made with the title research “Reflkesi Sejarah dalam
Kumpulan Cerpen Semua untuk Hindia Karya Iksaka Banu”. Qualitative methods
with historical approach used in this reasearch. In addition, the research also
uses the theory of Socialogy of literature especially sosiology works to linking the
intrinsic elements of a short story with historical facts. And then, this research use
perspective of the theory of orientalism to discover the purpose of reflected by
historical fact in a collection of short stories. From this research produced a
description of the forms or reflection which affirms te istorical fact in the cliff and
the negation of Western superiority as the reflection does purposes. Thus a
collection of short stories Semua untuk Hindia works by Iksaka Banu can be used
as an example of writing a good literary history bescause history is processed
along with the imagination of the author without facts out of the context.
