1st day

Class conversation

Ms. Kim: “Good morning. I hope you all had a great weekend.”

Stormi: “Good morning, miss.”

Ms. Kim: “morning too stormi, today I can see you’ve all got your school equipment and masks, well
done.”

Jaden: “I hate to wear a mask, miss. It’s so uncomfortable!”

Ms. Kim: “I understand, but it’s extremely important that we keep ourselves and others safe.”

Grammar in use

Sentence = kalimat

Sentence dibagi menjadi dua : verbal & Nominal

Verbal ialah kalimat yang membutuhkan kata kerja contoh saya berbicara bahasa bahasa inggris
(berbicara merupakan kata kerja)

Nominal ialah kalimat yang tidak menggunakan kata kerja atau subject tidak melakukan apa apa
contoh: saya tampan (tampan bukan kata kerja tapi kata sifat)

3rd day

Barry and Darren meet on the way from their school. Barry introduces himself to Darren (Barry dan
Darren bertemu satu sama lain ketika mereka hendak berangkat ke sekolah mereka. Barry
memperkenalkan dirinya pada Darren)

Barry: Good morning, my name is Barry. Have we met before? (Selamat pagi, namaku Barry.
Apakah kita pernah bertemu sebelumnya?)

Darren: I don’t know. Anyway hi, my name is Darren. (Aku nggak tahu. Ngomong-ngomong, hai

Darren: I am a student. Do you stay around here? (Aku seorang pelajar. Kamu tinggal di sekitar

Darren: Well, that’s nice! I also stay there but in the third room. (Bagus! Aku juga tinggal disitu tapi
pada kamar ke 3.)

Barry: Wow! We should meet then. Well, sorry Darren, I think I cannot stay any longer. It is nice to
meet you. (Wow! Kita harus bertemu dong. Baik, maaf Darren, sepertinya aku nggak bisa lama-
