INSPEKSI
Lakukan Inspeksi meliputi :

1. Kulit
2. Prepusium (kulup)
3. Glans

PALPASI
Lakukan palpasi pada setiap abnormalitas penis
dengan memperhatikan gejala nyeri tekan atau
indurasi. Raba bulbus penis di antara ibu jari
dan dua jari tangan yang pertama dengan
memperhatikan setiap indurasi. Palpasi bulbus
penis dapat dilewatkan pada pasien pria yang
berusia muda dan
asimtomatik.
Jika Anda menarik prepusium ke belakang,
kembalikan prepusium tersebutke posisi semula
sebelum Anda melanjutkan pemeriksaan Anda
untuk memeriksa skrotum.
 Skrotum dan Isinya
INSPEKSI
Lakukan inspeksi skrotum yang meliputi:
Kulit. Angkat skrotum agar Anda dapat melihat

PALPASI

menimbulkan nveri viseral yang dalam.
 HERNIA PALPASI
Lakukan palpasi untuk meraba hernia
INSPEKSI inguinalis. Dengan menggunakan secara bergiliran tangan
lnspeksi daerah inguinalis dan femoralis kanan untuk meraba sisi kanan pasien dan tangan kiri
dengan seksama untuk menemukan untuk meraba sisi kirinya, lakukan tindakan invaginasi
Benjolan yang terlihat pada saat (membalik ke dalam) kulit skrotum yang longgar dengan
benjolan. Sementara Anda melanjutkan jari telunjuk Anda.
Lakukan palpasi untuk meraba hernia femoralis
pengamatan, minta pasien untuk

adalah hernia. Jika tidak:
Dapatkah jari tangan Anda menjangkau bagian
di atas massa tersebut di dalam skrotum?
Lakukan auskultasi pada massa tersebut dengan
stetoskop untuk mendengarkan bunyi usus.
Jika hasil pemeriksaannya menunjukkan
hernia, coba dengan hati-hati untuk
mereposisinya (mengembalikan hernia
tersebut ke dalam rongga abdomen) melalui
tekanan yang dilakukan terus-menerus
dengan jari-jari tangan Anda. ]angan
mencoba melakukan manuver ini jika massa
tersebut terasa nyeri ketika disentuh atau
jika pasien mengeluh mual dan
muntahmuntah.

Teknik pemeriksaan

Banyak koasisten merasa cemas atau risih ketika pertama kali memeriksa
organ genitalia orang lain. Pada saat yang sama pasien juga memiliki
kekhawatirannya. Sebagian wanita telah mempunyai pengalaman yang
menyakitkan, memalukan, atau bahkan pengalaman merasa direndahkan pada
pemeriksaan dalam sebelumnya, sementara sebagian lainnya mungkin sedang
menghadapi pemeriksaan pertamanya. Pasien mungkin merasa takut tentang
penyakit apa yang akan dokter temukan dan bagaimana hasil pemeriksaan ini
dapat memengaruhi hidupnya.

Indikasi pemeriksaan dalam pada usia remaja meliputi abnormalitas

menstruasi, seperti amenore, perdarahan yang berlebihan, atau dismenore,
nyeri abdomen yang tidak jelas sebabnya, pengeluaran sekret dari vagin
pemasangan alat kontrasepsi, pemeriksaan bakteriologi serta sitologi pada
remaja puteri yang sudah aktif melakukan aktivitas seksual; selain itu,
pemeriksaan dalam dapat dilakukan atas keinginan pasien sendiri. Tanpa
memandang usia korbannya, kasus perkosaan memerlukan pemeriksaan yang
khusus dan biasanya membutuhkan konsultasi ginekologis serta pencatatan.
 Memilih Peralatan
Spekulum vagina dibuat dari logam atau plastik
darr memiliki dua bentuk dasar, yaitu spekulum
Pedersen serta Craves. keduanya ada dalam
ukuran kecil, sedang, dan besar. Biasanya
spekuium Pedersen berukuran sedang
merupakan alat yang paling nyaman bagi
wanita yang aktif secara seksual. Spekulum
Pedersen dengan daun yang sempit paiing baik
untuk pasien dengan introitus vagina yang
relative kecil seperti pasien wanita yang berusia
lanjut atau pasien perawan.

Spekulum Graves paling cocok bagi ibu yang
pernah melahirkan dan mengalami prolapsus
vagina.
Spekulum plastic secara khas akan
mengeluarkan bunyi klik yang keras atau dapat
menjepit ketika dikunci atau dilepas.
Memberikan penjelasan terlebih dahulu kepada
pasien akan membantu untuk menghindarkan
keterkejutan yang tidak perlu terjadi Dokter
obs,gin pria harus ditemani oleh asisten wanita.
Dokter obs-gin wanita pun harus dibantu jika
pasien terganggu secara fisik maupun
emosionalnya.
