 3. Bila Ketuban Telah Pecah
Anjurkan pengkajian secara saksama. Upayakan mengetahui waktu terjadinya
1 pecahnya ketuban

Bila robekan ketuban tampak kasar :

a. Saat pasien berbaring terlentang , tekan fundus untuk melihat adanya semburan cairan
dari vagina.
b. Basahai kapas asupan dengan cairan dan lakukan pulasan pada slide untuk
2 mengkaji ferning dibawah mikroskop.
c. Sebagian cairan diusapkan kekertas Nitrazene. Bila positif, pertimbangkan uji
diagnostik bila pasien sebelumnya tidak melakukan hubungan seksual tidak ada
perdarahan dan tidak dilakukan pemeriksaan pervagina menggunakan jeli K-Y.

Bila pecah ketuban dan / atau tanda kemungkinan infeksi tidak jelas, lakukan
pemeriksaan spekulum steril.
a. Kaji nilai bishop serviks (lihat Nilai Bishop, tabel 5-2).
3 b. Lakukan kultur serviks hanya bila ada tanda infeksi.
c. Dapatkan spesimen cairan lain dengan lidi kapas steril yang dipulaskan pada
slide untuk mengkaji ferning dibawah mikroskop.

Bila usia gestasi kurang dari 37 minggu atau pasien terjangkit herpes Tipe 2, rujuk ke
4 dokter.
