PENGERTIAN

• Bantuan Hidup Dasar (BHD) adalah serangkaian usaha awal

untuk mengembalikan fungsi pernapasan dan atau sirkulasi
pada seseorang yang mengalami henti napas atau henti
jantung

TUJUAN

• Mencegah berhentinya pernapasan

• Mencegah berhentinya sirkulasi atau
• Memberikan bantuan eksternal terhadap sirkulasi dan ventilasi
dari pasien yang mengalami henti jantung atau henti napas
melalui resusitasi jantung dan paru (RJP)
