Malaikat adalah :
mahluk ghaib yang diciptakan dari cahaya untuk
melaksanakan tugas tertentu dari Allah SWT
MATERI

Beriman kepada malaikat:

Mempercayai/meyakini adanya malaikat Allah

(merupakan mahluk gaib) yang diciptakan dari
cahaya ( nur) untuk melaksanakan tugas-tugas
tertentu dari Allah
Dalil Naqli:
Al Qur’an, Surat Al Fatir : ayat :1

MATERI

Segala puji bagi Allah pencipta langit dan bumi,

yang menjadikan Malaikat sebagai utusan-
utusan (untuk mengurus berbagai macam
urusan) yang mempunyai sayap masing-masing
(ada yang) dua, tiga dan empat
 NAMA DAN TUGAS-TUGAS MALAIKAT

Jibril : Menyampaikan wahyu kepada para nabi

Mikail : Menurunkan hujan dan membagikan rezeki
kepada mahluk
MATERI
Isrofil : Meniupkan sangkakala menjelang datang
hari kiamat
Izroil : Menjemput kematian setiap mahluk

Raqib dan Atid : Mencatat amal baik dan buruk manusia

Munkar dan Nakir : Memberikan pertanyaan kepada manusia

ketika berada di aam kubur

Malik : Menjaga pintu Neraka

Ridwan : Menjaga pintu syurga

1. Mahluk gaib diciptakan dari Nur

2. Selalu taat dan patuh pada perintah Allah,

tidak pernah membangkang dan mengeluh,

senantiasa menjalankan perintah Allah

3. Tidak berjenis kelamin laki-laki, wanita

maupun waria

4. Bisa berubah wujud seperti yang di kehendaki

5. Tidak terikat oleh dimensi jarak dan waktu

 Sifat Malaikat dijelaskan dalam hadits:

 Malaikat dan Tugasnya
 Malaikat Jibril : Bertugas menyampaikan wahyu kepada para nabi dan
rasul, sejak nabi Adam sampai dengan Rasul Nabi Mmuhammad. Nama
lain dari Jibril adalah Ruhul Quds (Q.S. An-Nahl:102) dan Ruh al-Amin (Q.S.
Asy-Syuara:193).
 Malaikat Mikail : Mengatur pembagian rizki kepada seluruh makhluk,
seperti: makanan, minuman, dan menurunkan hujan.
 Malaikat Israfil : Bertugas meniup sangkakala pada hari kiamat dan hari
kebangkitan (Q.S. Al-Haqqah:13-16, Q.S. Az-Zumar:68, Q.S. Ibrahim:48).
 Malaikat Izrail : Malaikat maut bertugas mencabut nyawa manusia dan
seluruh makhluk hidup lainnya.
 Malaikat Raqib dan Atid : Bertugas mencatat seluruh tingkah laku,
perbuatan manusia. Raqib untuk yang baik, dan Atid untuk yang jahat (Q.S.
Qaf: 16-18).
 Malaikat Munkar dan Nakir : Bertugas memberikan pertanyaan-pertanyaan
pada setiap manusia di alam kubur.
 Malaikat Malik : Bertugas sebagai penjaga neraka dan meminpin para
malaikat menyiksa penghuni-penghuni neraka (Q.S. At-Tahrim:6, Q.S. Al-
Zukhruf: 77).
 Malaikat Ridwan : Bertugas sebagai penjaga surga (Q.S. Ar-Ra’d:23-24).
Beriman kepada malaikat berarti memercayai dengan sepenuh hati bahwa Allah SWT
telah menciptakan makhluk bernama malaikat.

Wujud malaikat mustahil dapat dilihat dengan mata telanjang, karena mata manusia
tercipta dari unsur dasar tanah liat kering dari lumpur hitam yang diberi bentuk tidak akan
mampu melihat wujud dari malaikat yang asalnya terdiri dari cahaya, hanya Nabi
Muhammad SAW. yang mampu melihat wujud asli malaikat bahkan sampai dua kali.

Menurut syariat Islam ada beberapa tempat dimana para malaikat tidak akan mendatangi
tempat (rumah) tersebut dan ada pendapat lain yang mengatakan adanya pengecualian
terhadap malaikat-malaikat tertentu yang tetap akan mengunjungi tempat-tempat
tersebut.
 Hikmah beriman kepada Malaikat:

 Memperkuat keimanan kepada Allah, karena malaikat senantiasa bertasbih

kepada-Nya.
 Suka mendo’akan kebaikan dan ampunan bagi orang lain, sesuai degan
sifat malaikat.
 Mengingat akan adanya balasan Allah pada saat malaikat mencabut nyawa.
 Menghindari keinginan untuk berbuat dosa karena malaikat selalu mencatat
segala amal baik dan buruk manusia
 Selalu melakukan perbuatan baik dan merasa najis serta anti melakukan
perbuatan buruk karena dirinya selalu diawasi oleh malaikat.
 Berupaya masuk ke dalam surga yang dijaga oleh malaikat Ridwan dengan
bertakwa dan beriman kepada Allah SWT serta berlomba-lomba
mendapatkan Lailatul Qodar.
