 PENGERTIAN SUMBER BELAJAR

Sumber belajar adalah segala sesuatu yang ada disekitar

lingkungan belajar yang secara fungsional dapat
digunakan untuk membantu optimalisasi hasil belajar.
Sudjana menuliskan bahwa pengertian sumber belajar
bisa diartikan secara sempit dan secara luas. Pengertian
secara sempit diarahkan kepada bahan-bahan cetak,
sedangkan secara luas tidak lain adalah daya yang bisa
dimanfaatkan guna kepentingan proses belajar mengajar,
baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung.

Sebagai Sumber Belajar

Lingkungan yang ada di sekitar anak- anak kita merupakan

salah satu sumber belajar yang dapat dioptimalkan untuk
pencapaian proses dan hasil pendidikan yang berkualitas.
Sumber belajar lingkungan ini akan semakin memperkaya
wawasan dan pengetahuan anak karena mereka belajar
tidak terbatas oleh empat dinding kelas. Selain itu
kebenarannya lebih akurat, sebab peserta didik dapat
mengalami secara langsung dan dapat mengoptimalkan
potensi panca inderanya untuk berkomunikasi dengan
lingkungan tersebut. Kegiatan belajar dimungkinkan akan
lebih menarik bagi peserta didik karena lingkungan
menyediakan sumber belajar yang sangat beragam dan
banyak pilihan.
