 Laboratorium harus dilengkapi dengan peralatan dan instrumentasi
yang diperlukan agar pengujian dapat dilaksanakan. Peralatan
pengujian, termasuk perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak, harus
dilindungi dari penyetelan atau pengoperasian yang dapat
menyebabkan tidak validnya hasil pengujian.

Peralatan dan instrument yang tersedia harus diinspeksi secara periodik, dijaga
kebersihan, distel dan dikalibrasi sesuai dengan standar

Neraca analitik elektrik adalah salah satu

Prinsip kerja : Mengeset neraca alalitik tersebut
terlebih dahulu (memposisikan water pass didalam
lingkaran, mengatur posisi angka 0,0000 g atau
menzerokan ke angka nol), lalu menaruh bahan
atau zat ke dalam wadah (gelas arloji, botol
timbang) dan melihat angka yang tertera (galam
gram).
Fungsi : Mengetahui jumlah bahan atau
zat dalam analisa, menimbang suatu
bahan atau zat maupun cairan dengan
menggunakan suatu wadah yang sesuai
dengan ketentuannya.
K3 :Dalam menaruh bahan atau zat ke
wadah harus hati-hati agar tidak tumpah
ketempat neraca analitik elektrik nya,
jangan menimbang bahan atau zat

Tabung reaksi umumnya terbuat dari berbagai macam jenis gelas antara lain : Boroksilikat, Soda,
Fiolax dan Supermax. Soda Glass tidak tahan pemanasan, Fiolax Glass tidak peka terhadap perubahan
panas dan pemanasan setempat.Tabung reaksi yang terbuat dari Fiolax dan Soda glass umumnya
berdinding tipis, sedangkan tabung reaksi yang terbuat dari Boroksilikat dan Supermax tahan
pemanasan.Ukuran tabung reaksi ditetapkan berdasarkan atas diameter mulut tabung bagian dalam dan
panjang tabung, diameter antara 70 – 200 mm.

Prinsip kerja : Sebagai wadah larutan, beberapa memiliki tutup yang digunakan untuk meletakkan
sampel (darah).

Fungsi : Untuk mereaksikan larutan dan memanaskan sampel atau cairan.

K3 : Membawa serta dengan rak tabung sesuai dengan ukuran tabungnya agar tidak jatuh, mengunakan
penjepit tabung(Gegep) saat akan melakukan pemanasan

Fungsi Inkubator adalah alat untuk
menginkubasi atau memeram
mikroba pada suhu yang terkontrol
(umumnya di atas suhu ambient)

kecil ukuran inkubator maka

Inkubator adalah suatu unit atau kabinet yang suhunya dapat

Pada prinsipnya sama dengan oven, hanya terdapat sedikit

Autoklaf (autoclave) adalah alat untuk

mensterilkan berbagai macam alat dan
bahan yang digunakandalam mikrobiologi
dengan menggunakan uap air jenuh yang
bertekanan tinggi. Tekanan yang digunakan
pada umumnya sebesar 15 Psi atau 1 atm
dengan suhu 121,5 oC (250oF) dan bisa
mencapai 650 oC

Lamanya sterilisasi tergantung dari volume

dan jenis, biasanya dilakukan selama 15
menit untuk suhu 121 oC.Alatalat dan air
disterilkan selama 1 jam, sedangkan untuk
media sekitar 20-40 menit tergantung dari
volume bahan yang disterilkan.
