Perjanjian Internasional yang Dilakukan Indonesia
Definisi Perjanjian Internasional

Perjanjian Internasional adalah perjanjian dalam bentuk dan nama tertentu yang


diatur dalam hukum internasional yang dibuat secara tertulis serta menimbulkan
hak dan kewajiban di bidang hukum public (UU RI Pasal 1 No 24 tahun 2000 tentang
Perjanjian Internasional).
Contoh perjanjian Internasional yang dilakukan oleh Indonesia adalah Perjanjian
Linggarjati adalah suatu perjanjian antara Indonesia dan Belanda di Linggarjati,
Jawa Barat. Perjanjian tersebut menghasilkan persetujuan mengenai status kemerdekaan
Indonesia. Perjanjian dilakukan pada 11-15 November 1946 dan ditandatangani secara
sah oleh kedua negara pada 25 Maret 1947.
Istilah-istilah dalam Perjanjian Internasional
a.Traktat : Treaties (traktat) adalah perjanjian yang diadakan oleh dua negara atau lebih
yang mencakup seluruh instrumen yang dibuat oleh subyek hukum internasional dan
memiliki kekuatan hukum yang mengikat ,menurut hukum internasional.
b.Konvensi : peraturan-peraturan yang walaupun tidak ditetapkan oleh salah satu
kelompok negara atau organisasi dunia, namun ditaati oleh negara-negara dunia karena
mereka memiliki kepentingan yang sama dan yakin bahwa peraturan itu berlaku sebagai
hukum.
c.Protokol : Protokol (Protocol) artinya perjanjian yang sifatnya kurang resmi
dibandingkan dengan traktat atau konvensi. Biasanya protokol digunakan sebagai
naskah tambahan dari konvensi.
