A. PENGERTIAN DAN DEFINISI ANAK TUNADAKSA

Tunadaksa adalah anak yang memiliki anggota tubuh tidak

sempurna.

Anak tunadaksa dapat didefinisikan sebagai penyandang bentuk

kelainan atau kecacatan pada sistem otot, tulang dan persendian
yang dapat mengakibatkan gangguan koordinasi, komunikasi
mobilisasi dan gangguan perkembangan keutuhan pribadi.

Mengacu pada Peraturan Pemerintah No. 72 Tahun 1991,

agar peserta didik mampu :
- Mengembangkan Sikap, Pengetahuan dan keterampilan, sebagai
anggota masyarakat dalam mengadakan hubungan timbal balik
dengan lingkungan sosial, budaya, dan alam sekitar serta dapat
mengembangkan kemampuan dalam dunia kerja atau mengikuti
pendidikan lanjutan.
Menurut Connor (1975) dalam Musyafak Asyari (1995), ada
7 Aspek yang harus di adaptasikan pada anak tunadaksa

1. Pengembangan intelektual dan akademik

2. Membantu perkembangan fisik
3. Meningkatkan perkembangan emosi dan penerimaan
diri anak
4. Mematangkan aspek sosial
5. Meningkatkan ekspresi diri
6. Mempersiapkan masa depan anak

 Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran
Hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan dalam pelaksanaanya
adalah sebagai berikut:

Penataan Lingkungan Belajar dan Sarana Khusus

Terkait dengan kemampuan motorik penderita

tunadaksa, maka gedung atau fasilitas yang disediakan
seharusnya ramah terhadap tunadaksa. Sebaiknya
bangunan yang ada meliputi tiga hal yaitu, anak mudah
keluar masuk, mudah bergerak dalam ruangan dan mudah
mengadakan penyesuaian atau segala sesuatu yang ada
diruangan itu mudah digunakan
 PERSONEL
Berikut adalah Personel yang harus ada dalam penyelenggaraan
pendidikan anak tunadaksa yaitu,
1. Guru Pendamping Khusus
2. Guru yang memiliki keahlian khusus, dalam seni ataupun
keterampilan
3. Guru sekolah biasa
4. Dokter umum
5. Dokter ahli ortopedi
6. Neurolog
7. Ahli terapi lainnya (Terapi Wicara, Phycotherapist, Bimbingan
Konseling dan orhtotist prosthetist)

Evaluasi dilakukan berdasarkan berat atau ringan nya kelainan

yang diderita oleh anak tunadaksa
