Fungsi dan Ciri Leukosit
Fungsi sel darah putih adalah utk melindungi tubuh dari benda asing dan melawan penyakit,
leukosit juga melidungi tubuh dengan bentuk antibiodi.
Berikut ciri-ciri leukosit:

1. Berbentuk tidak tetap (ukuran 10-12 μm)


2. Mempunyai inti sel berbentuk bulat
3. Dapat melakukan gerak ameboid
4. Dapat melawan kuman dengan cara memakannya ( fagositosis)
5. Tidak mengandung warna (bening)
SIFAT-SIFAT
1. LEUKOSIT
Amoeboid adalah jenis gerakan merangkak protoplasma pada
sel eukariotik yang disebabkan oleh perubahan fungsinya,
sehingga sitoplasma memanjang dan retraksi keadaannya.

2. Fagosit adalah pengolongan dari sel darah putih yang berperan


dalam sistem kekebalan dengan cara fagositosis/menelan patogen. Sel
utama yang berperan sebagai fagosit adalah neutrofil dan makrofag

3. Makrofag adalah jenis sel darah putih dari sistem imun yang menelan dan
mencerna patogen, seperti sel kanker, mikroba, puing-puing seluler, dan
zat asing. Proses ini yang beraksi untuk mempertahankan inang dari
infeksi dan cedera
Leukosit
Leukosit dibedakan menjadi dua:
1. Leukosit agranulosit ( tidak memiliki butir-butir), yag dibentuk di dalam kelenjar
limfa, terdiri atas Limfosit dan Monosit.
2. Leukosit granulosit (memiliki sitoplasma yang bergranula), dibentuk oleh jaringan
retikulo endothelium di dalam susunan tulang, yang tediri dari Neotrofil, Basophil dan
Eosinophil.

• Leukemia, kanker darah dimana leukosit bertambah banyak
• Leukopenia, sedikitnya jumlah leukosit
• Limfoma, tipe kanker darah yang terjadi pada sistem limfatik
• Sindrom Mielodisplastik, kanker darah yang terjadi di sumsum tulang
• Mieloma Multipel, keganasan yang terjadi pada bagian sel plasma
• Anemia Aplastik, sumsum tulang blakang berhenti memproduksi sel darah merah,
sel darah putih, trombosit. 
• Neutropenia Autoimun, sel neutrofil tubuh salah dikenali antibodi tubuh,
• Limfositopenia, penurunan jumlah limfosit di dalam tubuh.
• Eosinofilia, kondisi yang menyebabkan kadar sel eosinofil tubuh meningkat.
PEMBENTUKAN
LEUKOSIT
Ada dua macam pembentukan leukosit. Yang pertama adalah tipe
mielositik dan yang kedua adalah tipe limfositik.Tipe mielositik akan
memulai proses dengan sel muda yang berwujud mieloblas. Sedangkan
pembentukan leukosit tipe limfositik akan memulai dari sel muda atau
limfoblas.

Leukosit dalam granulosit akan disimpan dalam sumsum sehingga sel


mengalami sirkulasi. Setelah itu, jika kebutuhan semakin meningkat,
akan ada beberapa faktor sitokinin yang terlepas. Pada keadaan normal,
granulosit akan bersirkulasi ke dalam seluruh darah hingga tiga kali
jumlah yang tersimpan pada sumsum.

Pembentukan sel darah putih ini sebagian akan tersimpan pada area
limfoid. Masa hidup granulosit setelah terlepas adalah 4-8 jam dalam
sirkulasi darah. Jika tidak, hanya sekitar 4-5 jam dalam jaringan.
