Sebagai Praktisi kesehatan masyarakat, kita
mempelajari penyakit dan penduduk yang
memiliki perilaku berbeda. Ilmu sosial
mempelajari penduduk dilihat sebagai warga
negara yang memiliki hak dan kewajiban,
termasuk dalam memperoleh status kesehatan
yang setinggi-tingginya dan cara mencapainya.
