Bila point diantara 15-17 HCP prioritas pertama adalah untuk bid 1NT bila memenuhi syarat (BAL/Semi BAL). Bila memiliki distribusi kartu yang bagus, seperti 5-5 atau 6-4 dengan point yang terkonsentrasi, batas HCP minimum untuk opening bisa diturunkan. Dengan 5-5/6-6 M selalu open yang lebih tua yaitu 1, sedangkan untuk kasus 6-5/5- 6 bila lebih panjang bid 1, tetapi bila lebih panjang umumnya 1, kecuali pegangan kuat atau kualitas sangat baik dibandingkan . Untuk pegangan M-m bila M lebih atau sama panjangnya dengan m selalu buka 1 M, sedangkan untuk kasus 5-6/5-7 dan lebih panjang m umumnya 1 M, kecuali kualitas m sangat baik dibandingkan M atau karena pegangan kuat. Tidak terlalu kaku dan berpatokan pada HCP, misalnya bila kita pegang 5-5 dengan 10 HCP yang terdistribusi pada kedua suit tersebut kita dapat melakukan opening tingkat 1. Pemain standard selalu memikirkan rebid.

I.2. Response Bidding Response Bid terhadap opening 1/ selalu mengutamakan Major (Major oriented). Untuk pegangan 4-4 Major : selalu respon 1. Untuk pegangan 5-4 Major : Long suit first. (note: kecuali untuk pegangan 5cd-4cd,6-9 HCP; lihat chapter II) Untuk pegangan 5-5 Major : selalu respon 1. Untuk pegangan 5cd minor 4cd Major : boleh bid minor dulu hanya untuk pegangan kuat (FG), jika tidak tetap bid Major terlebih dahulu. (note: kecuali untuk Inverted Minor Raise : No 4cd Major) Response bid terhadap opening 1/ : Response bid 1NT = F1R (forcing 1 round)

I.3. Rebid Opener Rebid 1NT/2NT harus balance dan tidak fit dengan suit partner. Rebid opener selain memberikan informasi distribusi juga memperkecil range HCP, kecuali untuk beberapa rebid terhadap forcing response. Rebid opener secara umum dapat kita bagi ke dalam beberapa kategori range HCP sebagai berikut : 12 15/16 HCP Untuk kategori ini cirri-cirinya adalah tidak bid suit baru dan tidak jump. Contoh: 112; 112. (note: kecuali bid 112, dimasukkan ke dalam kategori reverse)

12 18 HCP Untuk kategori ini cirri-cirinya adalah bid suit baru, tidak jump dan tidak reverse. Contoh: 111; 111; 112; 112.

Reverse = 17+ HCP Untuk kategori ini cirri-cirinya adalah bid suit baru, tidak jump, melewati level 2 suit opener tetapi tidak mlebihi level 2 suit responder (tidak melebihi 2NT untuk 1NT response). Contoh: 112; 112; 112.

Strong jump shift = 19+ HCP Untuk kategori ini cirri-cirinya adalah bid suit baru dan jump. Contoh: 112; 112; 113; 113.

I.4. Rebid Responder

I.4.1. Kategori Forcing

I.4.1.1. 4th Suit Forcing

Prinsip : Memberitahukan Forcing to Game (Jangan berhenti sebelum game)

Cara : Bid suit ke-4 yang belum di bid

Syarat : 1. 12+ HCP 2. Tidak berlaku bila sudah ada pemberitahuan forcing sebelumnya baik itu dilakukan oleh opener maupun responder 3. Tidak berlaku pada rebid No Trump

I.4.1.2. 3rd Suit Forcing

Prinsip : Forcing Game

Cara : Bila partner rebid suit pertamanya lalu kita bid suit yang ketiga.

I.4.1.3. 2-Way Check Back

Prinsip : Bisa digunakan untuk Forcing Game, INV atau Non Forcing.

Cara : Bila partner rebid 1NT maka untuk memberitahukan Game adalah dengan bid 2 , dan memberitahukan INV adalah bid 2 dan partner selalu harus bid 2 setelah kita bid 2 ini untuk selanjutnya kita memberitahukan pegangan kita.

Sifat : Berlaku untuk semua rebid 1NT ( kec 1 - 1)
