Data dan informasi tentang Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara tersebut
mutlak diperlukan sebagai dasar untuk pengambilan kebijakan di bidang
pemerintahan, pembangunan, dan kemasyarakatan. Selain itu, data dan
informasi juga tersebut sangat dibutuhkan oleh kalangan dunia usaha dan
masyarakat luas untuk berbagai kepentingan.
Oleh karena itu, kami menyambut baik penerbitan buku Gorontalo
Utara Dalam Angka ini yang telah merekam kemajuan-kemajuan yang telah

Data and information are absolutely necessary as a base of decision
taken by government on governmental aspects, development program,
economics and social services. Besides, all of the information and data that
presented can be used in commercial business and societies need.
Therefore, we are very pleased with the publication of North
Gorontalo in Figures that has recorded all of development and progress in
any sectors during 2013. We can analyze by comparing data and information
of all progress reached with the previous years.

Badan Pusat Statistik Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara telah dapat menyelesaikan
buku publikasi Gorontalo Utara Dalam Angka 2014.
Pada saat ini kebutuhan akan data statistik dari setiap sektor
pembangunan, semakin dirasakan. Hal ini memotivasi BPS Kabupaten
Gorontalo Utara untuk terus melengkapi dan menyempurnakan data yang
disajikan baik dari sisi kuantitas maupun kualitasnya. Data yang disajikan
bersumber dari kegiatan rutin, survei, dan sensus yang dilakukan oleh BPS
Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara, dan dilengkapi dengan data sekunder yang
dikelola oleh Instansi pemerintah dan swasta di wilayah Kabupaten
Gorontalo Utara. Data yang disajikan diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan baku
pokok dalam perencanaan pembangunan sektoral dan lintas sektoral di
wilayah Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara.

Praise to be God, BPS - Statistics of Gorontalo Utara Regency has

successfully published Gorontalo Utara in Figures 2014.
It is much more realized now that the demand for statistics from all
sectors has increased. This fact encourages us to fulfill and complete the data
both in terms of quantity as well as quality. The data presented are primarily
compiled from routine activities, surveys, and censuses conducted by BPSStatistics of Gorontalo Utara Regency. However, the secondary data sources
complied by public and private institutions in Gorontalo Utara Regency, are
also utilized. Hence, all of data become powerful ingradients for development
plan inter and intra sector in Gorontalo Utara Regency.
Any suggestions and criticisms to improve this publication will be
cordially welcome. Last but not least, I hope this publication is able to fulfill
the demand for statistical data for the public and private institutions.

stasiun pengamat. Rata-rata
curah hujan selama tahun 2013
berkisar 37,2 307,9 mm. Jumlah
hari hujan terbanyak terjadi pada
bulan juli 2013 yaitu 24 hari

Ketersedian sarana pendidikan,
baik sarana fisik pendidikan
maupun tenaga pengajar/guru,

Tabel 4.1.3 sampai dengan Tabel
4.1.8 memuat data tentang
jumlah murid, sekolah dan tenaga
pengajar atau guru dari tingkat TK
sampai dengan SMU.
Taman Kanak-kanak
(TK)
Jumlah sekolah Taman Kanakkanak (TK) pada tahun 2013 ada
sebanyak 55 sekolah, dengan
jumlah murid 1.663 siswa. Jumlah
guru TK adalah 154 orang. Rasio
murid - guru 1: 11, berarti setiap
guru di TK rata-rata mengajar 11
murid.

Industry
Industri pengolahan adalah suatu

kegiatan ekonomi yang melakukan
kegiatan mengubah suatu barang
dasar secara mekanis, kimia atau
dengan tangan sehingga menjadi
barang jadi/setengah jadi, dan atau
barang yang lebih tinggi nilainya,
dan sifatnya lebih dekat kepada
pemaki akhir.
Pada Tahun 2013, di Kabupaten
Gorontalo Utara terdapat 1.536
industri yang terdiri dari 930
industri makanan, 322 industri
kimia dan bahan bangunan, dan
284 industri lainya. Keberadaan
industry
tersebut
mampu
menyerap tenaga kerja sebanyak
3.190 pekerja.

mechanically, chemicals or
manually

intermediate goods. Its is also
defined as processing of lower
value goods into higher value
goods as final or intermediate
products.
In 2013, in Gorontalo Utara
Regency there are 1.536
industries, consisted of 930 food
industries, 322 chemical and
construction material industries.
The existence of these industries
can provide employment for
3.190 workers.

Kemiskinan
Tabel 12.2 memperlihatkan
banyaknya penduduk miskin
yang terdapat di Kabupaten
Gorontalo Utara. Secara umum,
terdapat penurunan angka
kemiskinan sejak Kabupaten
Gorontalo Utara berdiri pada
tahun 2008. Pada tahun 2008
terdapat 23,94% penduduk
miskin di Kabupaten Gorontalo
Utara. Angka tersebut menurun
pada tahun 2009, 2010, 2011

Di Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara

pada tahun 2013 terdapat
keluarga
sejumlah
29.435
keluarga yang tersebar di
sebelas kecamatan. Jumlah
keluarga terbanyak terdapat di
Kecamatan Kwandang yakni
sebanyak 6.896 keluarga.

dilaksanakan rutin setiap tahun.
Garis kemiskinan yang terdapat
pada tabel 12.2 merupakan
penjumlahan garis kemiskinan
makanan dan garis kemiskinan
non makanan. Tahun 2013
memiliki
garis
kemiskinan
sebesar Rp. 212.360,-
