Dear Connie,
Thank you for interesting letter and photo. You look really smart in the girls scout
uniform. Let me tell you about my extra-curricular activities.
In my school, there are also uniformed groups like your girl Scouts (we call it Girl
Guides here), the Police Cadet Corps, the Army Cadet Corps and the Ambulance Brigade. In
addition, we can join clubs and societies, and take part in sports activities.
I am very proud to be a member of the Police Cadet Corp (NPCC). We usually hold our

sweat a lot, we still enjoy it because it helps us become tough and disciplined. After that, we

To: Diana

Dear Diana:
I was just reminiscing about Sunday evening, and it was such a perfect night.
Sitting across the table from you, listening to your fabulous stories, I feel that I was mesmerized.
You're so passionate and intense when you speak about all the things you loved. I find that so
attractive.
The food you selected was perfect. And the wine sipping it from the delicate glass enhanced the
taste and it warmed my body as it filled up my insides.
Dinner was sumptuous. The pasta was so flavorful; I savored every bite, sucking each strand of
linguini slowly through my pursed lips as I listened to you speak.
It was a luscious supper. I loved it after dinner when we sat there gazing into each other's eyes
sipping our wine. After each sip, the subtle taste of wine lingered on my lips, and I licked them
so slowly, catching every last drop. And when you touched my lip with your finger, capturing
that one drop of wine that I missed, and then licked your finger, a tingling sensation flooded my
entire body.
So whatever it is that you are doing, thinking or saying, as you go about your day -- know that I
am there with you.

We left for Putri Mountain on Saturday morning, taking public transportation as far as it

were not alone; several hikers were with us, seeming lost too. We got scared, especially when
some girls from those hikers with us got fainted out of fatigue.
However, we kept moving until we arrived at some mining company on the mountain.

Seasons come to us regularly. We have probably noticed that it gets warmer in summer or

condition is then what we call winter.
The different parts of the world have the same season at different times. In the northern

Gift cards become more popular during recent years. For example, in one season of
holiday, sales reach $19 billion in United Stated and seem to grow more in the following season
due to their convenience in the side of consumers and retailers.
For retailers, gift cards bring them some benefits. Selling gift card is simply selling
products. When the cards are sold, they will get benefits. Additionally, gift card tends to be a
matter of image and trend which means it is not strictly influenced by the functionality. Since gift
card is the trend, the sales will increase significantly.
However, there are potential disadvantages in the side of consumers. For example, gift
cards apply process in the way of completing the shopping. They need do one step to another
step in processing the shopping. Likely, most of the steps apply time and date of validity or
expiration. When certain step looses that validating date, the gift cards may be in risk. The gift
card can be rejected to redeem. Again, in retailers’ side, producing card its self is costly. It means
that there is additional cost which retailers have to pay.

ERAGON :
Inheritance, Book One
Christopher Paolani
Knopt Books for Young Readers
Science Fiction
ISBN : 0375826688
528 pages
One day, a young farm boy named Eragon finds a blue stone while hunting and tries to
sell it for money. Unsuccessful in his attempts, he takes the stone back to his cabin and lets it sit
there until it hatches into a beautiful blue dragon. Eragon realizes he can talk to this secret pet
dragon with his mind and eventually learns that the dragons are part of a legacy of secret heroes
called the riders.
With the help of Brom, a wise man, Eragon matures into his destiny. The challenges he
faces include fighting a long-standing war, helping an ethereal elf, and dealing with tragedy and
revenge. Certain details, such as Eragon’s revelation that he cannot read, develop this rich work
and blend together to produce a number of plot twists. The story builds suspense steadily until
the end.
Remarkably, author Christopher Paolani began writing Eragon at the age of 15. Now 19,
he has already established himself as an exciting new creator whose influences include Tolkien,
McCafferey, and others. His world is intricate, his characters is believable, and writing engaging.
