Klasifikasi Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

 ICU Primer (standar minimal)
 mampu melakukan resusitasi dan ventilasi bantu < 24 jam
serta pemantauan jantung
 di RS tipe C atau B1

 Kriteria : 
a. a. Ruangan tersendiri, berdekatan dengan kamar bedah, ruang
darurat dan ruang rawat lain.
b. b. Memiliki kriteria pasien yang masuk, keluar dan rujukan.
c. c. Tersedia dokter spesialis sebagai konsultan yang dapat
menanggulangi setiap saat bila diperlukan.

d. Memiliki seorang Kepala ICU yaitu
seorang dokter anestesi

e. Memiliki tenaga keperawatan lebih

dari 25% bersertifikat ICU dan min
pengalaman kerja di UPDdan B selama 3
tahun.

 d. Kepala ICU yaitu seorang dokter KIC atau bila
tidak tersedia oleh dokter spesialis anestesiologi dan
dokter jaga yang mampu melakukan BHDdan
lanjut
e. Perawat lebih dari 50% bersertifikat ICU dan
min di UPD dan B 3 thn
f. Mampu memberikan bantuan ventilasi mekanis
beberapa lama dan dalam batas tertentu, melakukan
pemantauan invasif dan usaha-usaha penunjang
hidup.
