BENEFIT FASTING IN RAMADAN

Within a year all Muslims are required to fast for a full month, all parents and
children are all required to fast because fasting is one of the pillars of Islam. Fasting teaches
you to be discipline. Discipline in obeying the orders of Allah and Rasulullah SAW, starting
on time to end the sahur, on time for breaking the fast, including being on time in carrying out
the obligatory prayers and tarawih prayers.
A person can complete his fast by performing various other acts of worship such as
sunnah prayer, almsgiving, and reading the Koran. The habit of carrying out the commands of
Allah SWT seriously makes him have disciplined behavior. Discipline behavior grows
because he always tries to carry out Allah's orders on time. Fasting can also foster diligent
behavior in everyday life. A person who performs fasting is accustomed to being diligent in
worshiping for the sake of getting the perfect reward from Allah SWT.
