A young farmer lived an impoverished existence in his little hut, but he never complained because
the beauty of nature was more precious to his sensitive soul than any wealth.
One day his attention was caught by a lovely smell coming from the woods. He followed the sweet
fragrance until he reached a pine tree and saw, caught in the branches, an unbelievably beautiful veil,
woven from rays of sunshine, beams of moonlight, and studded all over with stars. The young man had
just disentangled the veil from the tree, when there appeared a young maiden who asked for it back. At
first the young man refused, at which the unknown girl burst into tears. “I am a nymph,” she explained,
“and without my veil I will never again be able to rejoin my sisters.”
“If you really are a nymph, then you can prove it,” said the young man, “by dancing for me as only
nymphs know how to dance.” So the maiden began to dance in mid-air, her veil flying round and round
the farmer, and from the veil there fell thousands and thousands of flowers.
Later, the farmer never could tell if he had dreamt it all, or if it had really happened, but from that
day on the young man rejoiced even more in the beauty of nature.

Penguin is a bird that cannot fly, they are more like aquatic animals, because they spend half of their
time in the oceans and the other half on the land. Generally, they live in the Southern Hemisphere, but it
doesn‘t mean that they can live only in a cold place, because Penguins are also found in Galapagos
Island, which consider to be a tropical area.
Penguins have various body size depending on their species. The largest Penguin, The Emperor
Penguin, can reach the size of 1,1 m with the weight of 35 kg or more. The smallest Penguin, the Little
Blue Penguin, can reach the size of 40 cm and the weight of 1 kg. Some others species such as King
Penguin, Gentoo Penguin, Magellanic Penguin and Yellow-eyed Penguin vary between those sizes.
The head of a penguin resemble the head of a bird with eyes on each side to see around. They have
two wings as flippers which help them to swim. Their foot is similar to duck‘s foot, this also support
them in the water. They have a wide and short tail. The tail and wings help them to keep their balance
when they are walking on the ground. The color of their inner body is white and the color of their back is
dark (usually black). This turns out to be a camouflage that protects them from predator when they are
underwater.

Bali is an island in the Indonesia archipelago. It is in the south of the equator and has warm all the

diamond. Mount Agung is a volcano that is 3,142 meters high and it is visible from far a way. Most of the

Tarragon Corn Chowder Recipe

Ingredients
• 4 ears corn
• 3 tbsp unsalted butter
• 1 cup chopped onion
• 1 cup chopped fennel
bulb
• 2 minced garlic
• 3 bay leaves
• 4 small potatoes, cut
into chunks
• Salt
• 1-2 tbsp fresh
chopped tarragon
Method
1. Grill the corn directly over heat about 10-15 minutes to get extra
flavor.
2. Cut the corn kernels away from the cobs.
3. Boil six cups water and bay leaves and add the corn cobs to make
corn broth.
4. Heat the pot, add butter, chopped onion, fennel and garlic. Saute
for about 5 minutes.
5. Add potatoes to the pot with onions and fennel, then pour in the
corn broth. Stir well and add salt to taste. Simmer gently until the
potatoes are tender.
6. Last, add the fresh tarragon to the pot.

SANGKURIANG

Long time ago, there was a prince that so in love with the beautiful woman named Dayang Sumbi.
The prince was changed into a dog named Tumang after marrying Dayang Sumbi and had a son named
Sangkuriang. Sangkuriang often went to hunt with Tumang. He did know that Tumang was his father.

One day, Sangkuriang met a deer in the forest, He remembered that his mother really liked the
heart of a deer. He shot the deer but he missed. He got really disappointed. Then he shot Tumang and got
his heart and brought it to his mother. Dayang Sumbi was very happy until she asked him where Tumang
was. Sangkuriang told the truth that it was Tumang’s heart. DayangSumbi got angry and hit
Sangkuriang’s forehead. Sangkuriang left the house.

DayangSumbi was praying to the God for having the eternal beauty. The God gave what her wish
for. After that she met the mature Sangkuriang and they loved each other. They decided to get married.
Dayang Sumbi asked about the Sangkuriang’s scar in his forehead. He answered that he was hit by his
mother. DayangSumbi was shocked and told him that she was his mother.

Sangkuriang did not believe her. Then Dayang Sumbi agreed that they were still husband and
wife with one condition. Sangkuriang had to make a big boat in a night. Sangkuriang said that he was
able to do that. However, Dayang Sumbi made the chicken crowing. It was the sign that Sangkuriang run

Clouds are made up of millions of tiny water droplets. Clouds are made when the weather is quite
warm, moist air rises into the sky where it cools down and condenses. Clouds can form in a few minutes
or over a number of hours. There are many different types of cloud and looking at them can help you
predict the weather.
Cloud can be measured through a number of observations. It is considered high if it is on 5,500-

fantastic! We rode on an old train. It lasted for thirty minutes. We passed a beautiful lake called Rawa
Pening.
Then, we were back to our hotel for lunch. After lunch, my brother Indra and I went swimming.
The swimming pool was near our room. However, the water was very cold. Soon, we decided to stop
swimming.
The next day, we went up hill to Gedong Songo temples complex. We rode horses to reach the
temples. I felt as if I was acting in the Lord of The Rings movies. It was great fun.
