Background: In the case of emergency handling, There must be a standart to
providing in emergency services in accordance with the competence and ability
of health workers. Mileage and travel time are among the factors that must be
considered. With the spread of network points, the travel time will be better and
emergency services will be more optimal in providing pre-hospital services.
Objectives: To know how to describe the distance and travel time of the ArcGIS-
based Public Safety Center 119 Banjarmasin City.
Method: This research uses non-experimental methods, with a quantitative
approach. The sampling technique was total sampling with a sample size of 105
the number of calls to the Public Safety Center 119.
Results: This study illustrates that there is an average distance of 3,712 km, a
minimum of 0.09 km and a maximum of 9.74 km that has been taken by PSC
119 Banjarmasin City. The results of the average travel time are 5, 5685 minutes,
a minimum of 0.14 minutes and a maximum of 14.61 minutes, with the criteria
that are met by the standard of 78 points of incident location while 27 locations of
incidents are not met. The PSC 119 network points in Banjarmasin City are
spread across 3 sub-districts, namely the Banjarmasin Timur, North Banjarmasin
and South Banjarmasin districts.
Discussion: The network point is a supporting factor in meeting the travel time
standard according to the international standard of 8 minutes. With this network
point, standard travel time and pre-hospital services will be more optimal to
prevent death and disability.
