HEALTH PROMOTION PKM ON COVID-19 AND PREVENTION STRATEGIES THROUGH PHBS


ACTIVITIES IN 002 KUAPAN State Elementary School TAMBANG DISTRICT
KAMPAR DISTRICT YEAR 2021.

COVID-19 telah  dinayatakan  sebagai  kasus  pandemik oleh WHO, Sampai bulan Juli tahun 2021 virus
Corona telah menginfeksi 182.912.981 di seluruh dunia, anak-anak merupakan orang yang berisiko terkena
virus COVID-19. Indonesia dengan penduduk terbanyak, data jumlah pada tahun 2021 COVID-19
2.7300.000 orang dan yang meninggal dunia sebanyak 70.192 orang dan 2.180.000 orang dinyatakan
sembuh. Permasalah dan tantangan dihadapi saat ini oleh lembaga pendidikan saat anak memasuki era new
normal dimana anak-anak kembali ke sekolah dan siswa/siswi tetap terhindar dari penyebaran COVID-19 .
Permasalahan yang terjadi kurang pengetahuan siswa/dan siswi tentang COVID-19. strategi pencegahan
COVID-19 melalui kegiatan PHBS disekolah. Tidak berjalananya program PHBS disekolah, keterbatasan alat
promosi kesehatan. Solusi dari PKM ini adalah Memberikan promosi kesehatan tentang COVID-19 dan strategi
pencegahan COVID-19 kegiatan PHBS disekolah menggunakan video dan filem tetang COVID-19 serta
membagikan kuesioner kepada siswa/siswi, Memberikan informasi kesehatan tetang PHBS dan peningkatan
progam PHS pembinaan dokter kecil disekolah, Membina guru dan staff serta dokter kecil untuk membuat suatu
inovasi dengan memanfaatkan alat-alat bekas mendukung kegiatan PHBS disekolah, seperti membuat tong
sampah dari durm bekas, serta alat cuci tangan dengan menggunakan ember bekas.Hasil PKM Siswa/siswi yang
hadir yang diundang berdasarkan arahan wakil kurikulum semuanya hadir (100%) dan dapat menghadiri
promosi kesehatan, Ketercapaian tujuan promosi kesehatan dapat dilihat dari peningkatan pengetahuan
dikatakan (85%) baik. Setelah promosi kesehatan diberikan tim dosen melakukan pemantauan
pamahaman siswa/siswi kelas 4-6 setelah promosi kesehatan diberikan pengetahuan siswa dan siswi
yaitu siswa dan siswa yang bepengetahuan baik sebanyak 46 orang (76,7%) siswi yaitu siswa dan
siswa kurang sebanyak 14 orang (23,3%).

182,912,981 around the world, children are people who are at risk of contracting the COVID-19 virus. Indonesia
with the most population, the data on the number of COVID-19 in 2021 is 2,7300,000 people and 70,192 people
have died and 2,180,000 people have recovered. Problems and challenges are currently being faced by
educational institutions when children enter the new normal era where children return to school and students are
still protected from the spread of COVID-19. The problem that occurs is the lack of knowledge of students / and
students about COVID-19. COVID-19 prevention strategies through PHBS activities in schools. The PHBS
program is not running in schools, the limitations of health promotion tools. The solution from this PKM is to
provide health promotion about COVID-19 and strategies for preventing COVID-19 PHBS activities in schools
using videos and films about COVID-19 and distributing questionnaires to students, Providing health
information about PHBS and improving the PHS program for fostering small doctors in schools , Fostering
teachers and staff as well as small doctors to create an innovation by utilizing used tools to support PHBS
activities in schools, such as making trash cans from used durm, as well as hand washing tools using used
buckets. Results of PKM Students who attended were invited based on the direction of the curriculum
representatives are all present (100%) and can attend health promotion. The achievement of health promotion
goals can be seen from the increase in knowledge that is said to be (85%) good. After the health promotion was
given, the lecturer team monitored the understanding of students in grades 4-6 after the health promotion was
given the knowledge of students and students, namely students and students who had good knowledge as many
as 46 people (76.7%) students, namely students and students lacking as many as 14 people ( 23.3%).
