2. As time allows, spend time with your students, where that live, be it the
village or downtown. Perhaps you can eat a meal with them, play a game
with them, or go to the market with them when they go. As you interact
with them you can see if they are putting into practice what they are
learning.
In John 11:1-44 we are given the details of Jesus raising Lazarus from the
dead. This is the culmination of many visits Jesus spent with Mary, Martha,
and Lazarus in their home. He not only knew and loved them, but they
looked upon him as family. Jesus used this situation as an example of God’s
love for each of us and for our dependence on Him for life itself.
