1. Estimate the density of poly (methyl acrylate) at 298,15 OK with the method of Elbro, et
al. (1991). The value given in van Krevelen and Hoftyzer (1972) is 1.220 g/cm 3
2. Given five experimental vapor-liquid equilibrium data for the binary system
methanol(1) -1,2-dicloroethane (2) at 50OC. calculate the P-y-x diagram at 50OCand
Predict the P-y-x diagram at 60OC.
