Koordinat Grid

Pengertian
Koordinat grid merupakan kotak-kotak yang
menandakan kesepakatan pembagian daerah
dataum dalam 2 dimensi.

Komponen
Koordinat grid dinyatakan terhadap sumbu X
(absis) dan sumbu Y (ordinat). Dalam
koordinat grid, kedudukan suatu titik
dinyatakan dalam ukuran jarak terhadap suatu
titik acuan (datum). Koordinat grid yang lazim
di peta adalah koordinat grid UTM (Universal
Transverse Mercator).

untuk menunjukan perbedaan antara koordinat
bumi secara aslinya dan setelah di transformasi
kedalam bidang datar. Hal ini terjadi karena pada
saat transformasi sphere kedalam bidang datar
terjadi distorsi titik koordinat.
