NIKEL LATERIT
Nikel Laterit merupakan residu hasil pelapukan kimia pada
batuan ultramafik. Proses lateritisasi berlangsung selama
jutaan tahun dimulai ketika batuan ultramafik tersingkap di
permukaan bumi sampai menghasilkan berupa residu nikel
yang diakibatkan oleh faktor laju pelapukan, struktur
geologi, iklim, topografi, reagen-reagen kimia dan
vegetasi, dan waktu

Estimasi sumberdaya adalah estimasi dari bijih endapan mineral yang mana bagian dari perhitungan cadangan
yang merupakan hal yang paling vital sebelum dilanjutkan ke tahap selanjutnya yaitu perhitungan cadangan
yang mana akan dievaluasi apakah endapan mineral tersebut layak untuk dilanjutkan ke tahap eksplorasi
selanjutnya (Widayat, 2005)..

IDW
Metode Inverse Distance Weighted
(IDW) adalah salah satu dari
metode penaksiran dengan
pendekatan blok model yang
sederhana dengan
mempertimbangkan titik
disekitarnya.
IDW secara langsung
mengimplementasikan asumsi
bahwa sesuatu yang saling
berdekatan akan lebih serupa
dibandingkan dengan yang saling
berjauhan.

BLOK MODEL

Metode block modelling merupakan metode permodelan suatu Model blok teratur
cadangan ke dalam bentuk penampang block by block yang (regular block model)
dituangkan dalam model 3 dimensi atau model 2 dimensi. Metode
block modelling dimanfaatkan untuk menganalisis dan melihat
penyebaran jumlah cadangan dan overburden secara block by block,
section by section, dan elevation by elevation, sehingga dapat Gridded seam model
terlihat estimasi jumlah cadangan yang didapat pada setiap range
elevasinya

Estimasi sumberdaya berperan penting dalam menentukan
kuantitas dan kualitas dari suatu endapan. Sebab dari hasil
estimasi yang baik dan akurat yang sesuai dengan
keberadaannya di lapangan dapat menentukan investasi yang
akan ditanam oleh investor sebagai penanaman modal dalam
usaha penambangan, cara penambangan yang akan
dilakukan, bahkan dalam memperkirakan waktu yang akan
dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan dalam melakukan usaha
penambangannya sehingga dapat menekan jumlah cost serta
memberikan keuntungan bagi perusahaan itu sendiri dalam
proses penambangan selanjutnya
