Pengertian
Bermain adalah cara alamiah bagi anak mengungkapkan
konflik dalam dirinya yang tidak disadari (Wholey and
wong, 1991).Bermaian adalah suatu kegiatan yang
dilakukan sesuai dengan keinginan untuk memperoleh
kesenangan (Foster, 1989). Jadi, kesimpulannya bermain
adalah cara untuk memperoleh kesenangan tanpa
mempertimbangkan hasil akhir.
Tujuan Bermain
 Dapat melanjutkan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang normal,
 Dapat mengekspresikan keinginan, perasaan, dan fantasi,
 Dapat mengembangkan kreativitas melalui pengalaman bermain yang tepat,
 Agar anak dapat beradaptasi lebih efektif terhadap stress karena sakit.
1. Fungsi Bermain
 Perkembangan Sensoris-Motorik
Aktivitas sensorimotor adalah komponen utama bermain pada semua usia dan merupakan
bentuk dominan permainan pada masa bayi. Permainan aktif penting untuk perkembangan otot
dan bermanfaat untuk melepasa kelebihan energy. Melalui permainan sensorimotor, anak
menggali sifat dunia fisik.

• Perkembangan Intelaktual
Melalui eksplorasi dan manipulasi, anak-anak belajar mengenali warna, bentuk,
ukuran, tekstur dan fungsi objek-objek. Mereka mempelajari fungsi angka-angka dan
cara menggunakannya; mereka belajar menghubungkan kata dengan benda.

• Kreativitas
Kreativitas terutama merupakan hasil dari aktivitas tunggal, meskipun berfikir kreatif
sering kali ditingkatkan dalam kelompok ketika mendengar ide orang lain yang
merangsang eksplorasi lanjutan dari idenya sendiri
Karakter Permainan

• Permainan Pengamat
Selama permainan pengamat, anak memerhatikan apa dilakukan anak lain
tetapi tidak berusaha untuk terlibat dalam aktivitas bermain tersebut. Terdapat
minat aktif dalam memerhatikan intekrasi anak lain tetapi tidak bergerak untuk
berpartispasi. Memerhatikan kakak menendang bola adalah contoh umum dari
peran pengamat.

• Permainan Tunggal
selama permainan tunggal, anak bermain sendiri dengan mainan berbeda dengan
mainan digunakan oleh anak lain di tempat yang sama.
Permainan Parallel

Selama aktivitas parallel, anak bermain secara mandiri tetapi

antara anak-anak lain. Mereka bermain dengan mainan yang sama
seperti mainan yang digunakan anak lain di sekitar mereka, tetapi
ketika anak tampak kompak, mereka tidak saling memengaruhi.
Masing-masing anak bermain berdampingamn, tetapi tidak
bermain bersama.
a. Permainan Kooperatif
Permainan kooperatif(kerja sama) bersifat teratur, dan
anak bermain dalam kelompok dengan anak lain. Mereka
mendiskusikan dan merencanakan aktivitas untuk tujuan
pencapaian akhir untuk membuat sesuatu, untuk mencapai
tujuan kompetitif, untuk memerankan situasi kehidupan
orangdewasa atau kelompok, atau untuk memainkan
permainan formal.
Klasifikasi Permainan

Permainan keterampilan
Bila bayi telah mengembangkan kemampuan untuk menggenggam
atau memanipulasi, mereka secara terus-menerus menunjukkan dan
melatih kemampuan yang baru mereka kuasai melalui permainan
keterampilan, yang mengulang tindakan tersebut. Elemen dari
permainan rasa senang sering terlihat dalam mempraktikkan
kemampuan baru, tetapi terlalu sering, bertekat untuk berhasil
menunjukkan keterampilan sulit yang menimbulkan nyeri dan
