 Ladybirds or Ladybugs are insect from a family of coccinellidae. “Ladybirds” derives
from Britain and the insects are known as the lady beetle. The word coccinellid is a Latin
word means scarlet.
Most ladybugs have oval-dome shaped bodies with six short legs. They can have spots,
stripes, or no marking at all, according to the species. Seven spotted coccinellids are red or
orange with three spots each side and one in the middle. They have black head with white
paches on each side.
Ladybirds are known as predators of aphids and scale insects. They are purely
carnivorous but some species in the sub family Epilachninal are herbivores, and can be very
destructive agricultural pets. They can damage the harvests.
Ladybugs are bird’s prey beside frogs, wasps, spiders, and dragonflies. Their bright
color discourage some potential predators to attack them. This phenomenon is called
aposematism. The predators learn by experience that ‘good looking prey’ accosiates to bad
taste. These insects produces an alicalloid toxin when predators attack them.
Ladybirds bite people and cause allergic reactions. In the grape orchard, they can cause
the wine production becomes poor.

Panda is a mammal in the bear family. This bear species is a native of central-western
and south-western China. The panda is also known as the giant panda to distinguish from
the unrelated red panda.
The giant panda has shaggy white fur with a black patch around each eye and a ring
of black around the shoulder, front legs, and chest. The biggest giant pandas are about 5
feet (1.5 meters) long and weigh up to 220 pounds (100 kilograms).

Last Sunday, I was gathering with my father. It was half past six in the morning. The air

turned into yellow. What a great view!
Next, we were busy to harvest the bananas. It was my first time to do this. We just moves
to the new house for about six months. Here, we have yards around the house with banana
and guava trees.
After that, I watered the vertical garden and pull of the wild grass. I also collected the old
leaves and realized that the yard looked nicer and cleaner after that.
Finally, I picked 2 ripe guavas. They smelt nice. I took a shower and had breakfast with
my parents right after that. It was a fine Sunday.

Blueberries are flowering plants of the genus Vaccinium with dark-blue, purple, or black

Whales are sea living mammals. They therefore breathe air but cannot survive on land.
Some species are very large. Blue whale, which can exceed 3 cm in length, is the largest

Realizing the situation, the lion and the pig soon decided to stop the fighting and made
up. They didn’t even continue the quarrel and arguments. “Look at the vultures. They can’t
wait to eat our bodies once we die. Let’s just stop fighting.” said the lion to the pig.
“You’re right. It’s better for us to be friends than to be the food of those vultures. That
will certainly happen if we get hurt or die,” replied the pig.

Koala is one of the Australia’s unique animals that have pockets (marsupials) like a
kangaroo. The name of koala comes from the aboriginal language which means “not
drinking”. It is because koala rarely drinks water. They rely on water contained in eucalyptus
leaves. They can be found along the eastern coast of Australia from Adelaide to Cape York
Peninsula. They can also be found far inside the jungle. They live in areas which have
enough rainfalls.
They have a distinctive body shape. They have thick and soft fur and wide ears. They
also have large claws for climbing trees. The body weight is different from one another. For
example, the males can reach 14 kg, while the females in the northern part weigh only 5 kg.
They spend all their time at the top of the tree. They are quiet animals and do not like a
fuss. They spend 20 hours each day to sleep. However, during the mating season, they
become more active. Even the males can emit a loud sound and can be heard up to a radius of
1 km.
In the wild, they only eat eucalyptus leaves. They contain low protein phenolic and
terpene compounds. These compounds can be toxic to other animals. However, they can
neutralize those toxins in their heart. They usually cat at night because during the day, they

 always fall asleep. They generally spend about 500 grams of eucalyptus leaves per day. They
will chew it till smooth before swallowing it.

taken from. Her name is Florence Nightingale. She was born in 1820 to a wealthy English
family. She decided in her teens to become a nurse, even though her parents disapproved. At
that time, most nurses from poor families and had little or no training. But, Nightingale was
determined to have her way. In 1850 and 1851, she received training at hospitals in Egypt
and Germany.

roots, the gold was not there. The king of the mice had run away too.
That night, the king of the mice crept up to the woodcutter’s house and took back all the
gold. So, the woodcutter was a poor as before.

Agung. So, he stole his father’s bell and went there. When he arrived at Mount Agung,
Mnaik Angkeran rang the bell. The dragon knew him. It gave him some jewels. Suddenly, he
had a bad idea. He wanted to kill the dragon and stole its jewelries. The dragon knew his plan
and it killed Manik Angkeran. Sidi Mantra was very sad. He asked the dragon to bring his
son back to life. The dragon agreed, with one condition, they had to live in separated places.
When Manik Angkeran came alive, Sidi Mantra draw a line between them on the ground.
