• Melalui model pembelajaran project based learning diberikan video, siswa dapat menemukan
kata kunci yang terdapat pada generic structure dari teks recount dengan mandiri.
• Melalui teks tentang video yang diberikan, siswa dapat mengidentifikasi unsur kebahasan
dalam teks recount dengan benar.
• Diberikam sequence pictures cards tentang peristiwa nyata, siswa dapat menyusun urutan
gambar tentang peristiwa-peristiwa nyata yang berbeda secara utuh serta memperhatikan
sequence of events yang ada dalam teks dengan kreatif.
• Melalui gambar yang telah disusun, siswa membuat kalimat menggunakan past simple tense
disetiap sequence pictures.
• Melalui kalimat bergambar, siswa dapat membuat mind mapping dari ringkasan sequence
picture yang sudah mereka buat dengan memperhatikan generic structure dari teks recount
• Berdasarkan mind mapping, siswa dapat menemukan informasi rinci.
• Melalui mind mapping dari ringkasan sequence picture, siswa dapat mempresentasikan teks
recount.

H. MATERI PEMBELAJARAN
Recount text is a text which retells events or experiences in the
past.Purpose of recount text is to inform or to tell about past
event.
General structure of recount text :
• Orientation : It gives the readers the background information needed to understand
the text,such as who was involved, where it happened, and when it happened.
• Events : A series of events, ordered in a chronological sequence.
• Re-orientation : A personal comment about the event or what happened in the end
Language Features of recount text :
• Using the simple past tense, past continuous tense, past perfect tense, and past perfect
continuous tense.
• Using temporal sequence, e.g. On Saturday. On Monday, On Sunday
• Focus on specific participant, e.g. I (the writer)
• Using the conjunctions, such as: then, before, after, etc.
• Using action verd, e.g. went, stayed

Kegiatan awal • Guru dan siswa saling memberi dan menjawab salam.

• Berbasis kegiatan apersepsi yang telah dilakukan, guru menyampaikan
cakupan materi, yakni Recount Text, dan menyampaikan kriteria
ketercapaian.

simple past tense sebagai pengukur kemampuan siswa pada pertemuan
