A. Tujuan Pembelajaran

B. Materi Ajar
1. Definition
Prosedur teks adalah sebuah teks yang berisi tentang cara membuat atau
mengoperasikan sesuatu melalui serangkaian langkah tertentu secara
berurutan.

2. Social function
Fungsi utama dari sebuah teks prosedur adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimana
cara membuat, menyelesaikan, atau mengoperasikan sesuatu melalui
serangkaian langkah atau cara secara berurutan.

3. Language Features
Berikut beberapa ciri kebahasaan teks prosedur:
• Menggunakan Simple Present Tense
S+V1 / S+V1+s/es
• Menggunakan Imperative Sentences (Kalimat Perintah)
Example : Slide the SIM card carefully.
• Menggunakan Ordinal Number (Bilangan Biasa)
Example : 1, 2, 3, etc.
• Menggunakan kata kerja yang digunakan untuk menyatakan aktivitas fisik
dan mental manusia (Action Verbs)
Example : pour, mix, push, insert, open, etc.
• Menggunakan kata hubung (Temporal Conjunction)
Example : First, second, next, after that, finally, etc.
4. Generic Structure
Teks prosedur mempunyai 3 bagian struktur, yaitu:
• Tujuan (Goal)
Pada bagian ini berisi judul tentang bagaimana cara membuat atau
mengoperasikan sesuatu. Biasanya diawali dengan kata “How to...”
Contoh : How to adjust date and time on Windows 10.

• Material atau Alat (Materials or Tools)


Pada bagian material, kita dapat menuliskan beberapa bahan atau alat
yang diperlukan untuk membuat atau mengoperasikan sesuatu. Tapi
tidak semua teks prosedur mencamtumkan material. (Pada teks manual
tidak terdapat material yang diperlukan atau digunakan karena teks
manual hanya menjelaskan tentang cara menjalankan atau
mengoperasikan sesuatu).

• Langkah-langkah / Metode (Steps / Method)


Bagian ini berisi tentang cara-cara atau langkah-langkah untuk membuat
atau mengoperasikan sesuatu

questions.
How To Make Healthy Juice

Ingredients:

• 3 celery stalks
• 1 apple, cut into pieces
• ½ cucumber, cut into pieces
• 1 pear, cut into pieces
How to make:

1. Cut all the ingredients into small pieces and put them in a blender.
2. Turn on the blender wait until all the ingredients are soft.
3. After softening, serve the juice.
4. If you want a waste-free drink use a sieve.
5. Add a few drops of lemon.

Connecting JetFlash (flash disk) to a Computer
