A. KOMPETENSI DASAR
3.6 Membedakan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan beberapa teks
prosedur lisan dan tulis dengan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait manual
penggunaan teknologi dan kiat-kiat (tips), pendek dan sederhana, sesuai dengan
konteks penggunaannya.
4.6.1 Menangkap makna secara kontekstual terkait fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur
kebahasaan teks prosedur lisan dan tulis, dalam bentuk manual terkait penggunaan
teknologi dan kiat-kiat (tips).

C. TUJUAN PEMBELAJARAN
1. Pengetahuan
a. Melalui kegiatan mengamati video tentang teks prosedur, peserta didik dapat
menentukan fungsi sosial, gambaran umum, informasi rinci baik tersirat maupun
tersurat dari beberapa teks prosedur tulis dengan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait
manual penggunaan teknologi dan kiat-kiat (tips), pendek dan sederhana, sesuai dengan
bidang keahlian dan konteks penggunaannya secara madiri.
b. Setelah membaca teks power point dan melakukan diskusi dengan guru, peserta didik
dapat menganalisis struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan beberapa teks prosedur tulis
dengan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait manual penggunaan teknologi dan
kiat-kiat (tips), pendek dan sederhana, sesuai dengan bidang keahlian dan konteks
penggunaannya dengan percaya diri dan bertanggung jawab.
2. Keterampilan
Setelah mengamati video, membaca teks power point, dan melakukan diskusi dengan
guru, peserta didik dapat menyusun teks prosedur tulis sederhana dengan
memperhatikan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan teks prosedur dengan
memberi dan meminta informasi terkait manual penggunaan teknologi dan kiat-kiat
(tips), pendek dan sederhana, sesuai dengan bidang keahlian dan konteks
penggunaannya dengan percaya diri.

D. PETUNJUK PENGGUNAAN LKPD


1. Baca kembali materi yang sudah diterangkan guru.
2. Baca dengan cermat apakah latihan itu dikerjakan secara mandiri atau kelompok.
3. Jika secara kelompok, maka tiap peserta didik harus aktif.
4. Jika tugas mandiri, kerjakan latihan dengan teliti dan mandiri.
5. Jika ada hal yang kurang jelas, silahkan bertanya pada guru.

Instructions: Read the following text, then identify the social function, generic structure,
and language features in the table provided.
How to Insert Sim Card into a Cellphone

Cellphone is a modern communication device which connects one to the others by


voice, written message and data. However this device can not work until the SIM card is
inserted.
When inserting the SIM Card to cellphone, make sure that the cellphone has been
switched off and follow the direction below :
First of all, press the locking catch and slide the cover then lift it off the phone.
After that, push two catches in the opposite directions and remove the battery.
Next, slide the SIM card carefully into the slot and make sure that the golden connect arson
are facing to the connector of the phone. Then, put the battery and align it until snaps into its
place. Finally, insert the two catches of the back cover corresponding slot in the phone and
slide the cover forward button of the phone until locks into place.
Don’t forget to switch on the cellphone. Wait until it is ready to use.

ACTIVITY

How to use a copy machine:


1. Make sure the machine is powered on and warmed
up.
2. Check to make sure there is enough of the correct
size paper loaded into the machine.
3. Lift the feeder and check the glass to make sure that
there is no dirt, marks, or other items left on top of
the glass.
4. Place a single sheet (original) or item you want copied face down on the glass in the
proper position (read and follow the guides).
5. Close the feeder on top of the glass and your original.
6. Review the setup on the display to make sure you have the right settings (e., color, black
& white, size paper, number of copies, etc.)
7. Press the copy button.
8. Remove your copies and check them to make sure that they are what you wanted
copied.
9. Remove the original and leave the machine exactly as you found it for the next person in
your office to use

Donna : With pleasure. Come with me to the kitchen.
