TEKS PROSEDUR (MANUALS)

a. Uraian Materi Manual

How to use/operate berarti menggambarkan bagaimana cara
menggunakan atau mengoperasikan sesuatu melalui serangkaian langkah –
langkah. Teks prosedur sendiri bertujuan untuk memberi petunjuk tentang
langkah-langkah atau cara-cara dalam menggunakan. Contoh teks prosedur
tentang manual adalah sebagai berikut:

 Anak-anak, setelah Kamu membaca dan memperhatikan contoh – contoh
teks prosedur di atas, coba Kamu perhatikan adakah perbedaan dari kedua jenis
teks prosedur itu. Ya, betul. Perbedaannya adalah dari tujuan teks. Kalau pada
recipes adalah how to make sedangkan pada manual adalah how to use/operate.
Nah sekarang kita akan membahas tentang struktur teks pada manual. Pada teks
prosedur manual agak sedikit berbeda bagian atau struktur teks, yaitu:
Pada umumnya procedure text manual memiliki struktur teks / susunan teks
sebagai berikut :
1. Goal/aim : berisi tujuan kegiatan atau hal yang akan dilakukan atau
dibuat nantinya.
2. Tool : berisi alat-alat yang diperlukan atau digunakan.
3. Steps : serangkaian langkah-langkah atau petunjuk yang harus
dilakukan.

Jadi, jelaslah perbedaannya bahwa pada manual hanya terdiri dari 3 bagian
atau susunan karena pada manual tidak memerlukan materials atau bahan tetapi
bisa menggunakan alat-alat itupun tidak selalu harus ada.
Untuk ciri-ciri kebahasaan baik teks prosedur bentuk Recipes maupun Manual
adalah menggunakan Imperative dan temporal conjuction (after that, first, then, etc.).
Baiklah, kita telah menyelesaikan satu bahasan tentang Teks prosedur

How to Use a Computer

Here are the steps to operate a computer:
a. Before plug of powering up the computer system, make sure that the power
cable is connected to the back panel of the CPU and is plugged into the
electric socket.
 b. Make sure the video cable is already connected to the monitor and the back
panel of CPU correclty.
c. Make sure other devices such as mouse and keyboard have connected to the
back panel of CPU in the right side. Other hardware can also be connected
such as speaker, printer, and so forth.
d. When everything is plugged in securely, then press the power button on the
CPU is usually located on the front panel of the CPU.
e. The computer will display the Windows logo and displays the desktop image
f. Once the desktop image appears then the computer is ready to operate
g. The proper way to shut down or turn off the computer system is by clicking on
the ‘Start’ button and choosing the ‘Turn Off Computer’ option. This then will
display the options to ‘Standby’, ‘Restart’, or ‘Turn Off’ the CPU. Click ‘Turn

How to use a blender

The Steps:

 First, make sure the blender is properly installed, clean and in good
condition. 
 Second, after the blender is ready, plug the cable into electricity. 
 Then, put the materials that we have prepared to the blender.

How to operate washing machine

The Steps:

1. First, put the clothes in the tub and add enough detergent.
2. Second, add the water and wait the tub until full enough.
