Peron kelapa sawit merupakan tempat usaha yang bergerak dibidang jual beli
Tandan Buah Segar (TBS). Secara umum peron kelapa sawit membeli TBS dari
petani dan pedagang pengumpul. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena besarnya modal
yang digunakan untuk pembukaan usaha dan pengoprasian usaha, oleh sebab itu perlu
dilakukan analisis kelayakan investasi agar usaha peron tidak mengalami kerugian
dimasa yang akan datang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1)
karakteristik pengusaha dan profil usaha, (2) kelayakan non finansial usaha peron
kelapa sawit, (3) kelayakan finansial usaha peron kelapa sawit dan (4) sensitivitas
usaha peron kelapa sawit. Metode penelitian studi kasus pada usaha peron kelapa
sawit Chesa Quin di Desa Sungai Baung Kecamatan Rengat Barat Kabupaten
Indragiri Hulu Provinsi Riau. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama tujuh bulan yang
dimulai dari September 2022-April 2023. Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri dari data
primer dan sekunder yang dianalisis secara Deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan
pendekatan kriteria analisis investasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
karakteristik pengusaha pada kelompok umur produktif dengan umur 39 tahun, lama
pendidikan selama 17 tahun setara S1, pengalaman berusaha 2 tahun dan jumlah
tanggungan keluarga 4 orang. Profil usaha peron kelapa sawit dianalisis dengan
menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif meliputi skala usaha, modal usaha, dan tenaga kerja
Usaha peron dari aspek nonfinansial seperti pasar, teknis, manajemen, dan organisasi,
hukum, sosial dan lingkungan dinyatakan layak. Aspek finansial usaha peron kelapa
sawit layak berdasarkan kriteria investasi dengan nilai NPV 10.999.252.876>0, IRR
89% > tingkat discount rate (12%), Net B/C 5,25>1 dan Payback Period 1 tahun 4
Bulan 2 Hari < dari umur proyek layak untuk diusahakan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis
sensitivitas menggunakan metode Switching Value, usaha peron kelapa sawit Chesa
Quin lebih peka (sensitive) terhadap penurunan kapasitas senilai 5,17% yang
mengakibatkan NPV turun senilai 97,88% dari nilai dasar.

The oil palm platform is a place of business engaged in the buying and selling of
Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB). In general, oil palm platforms buy FFB from farmers and
collectors. This research was conducted because of the large amount of capital used
for business opening and business operations, therefore it is necessary to carry out an
investment feasibility analysis so that the platform business does not experience
losses in the future. This study aims to analyze:
(1) the characteristics of the entrepreneur and business profile, (2) the non-financial
feasibility of the oil palm platform business, (3) the financial feasibility of the oil
palm platform business and (4) the sensitivity of the oil palm platform business. The
research method is a case study on the Chesa Quin oil palm platform business in
Sungai Baung Village, Rengat Barat District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province.
This research was carried out for seven months starting from September 2022-April
2023. The data collected consisted of primary and secondary data which were
analyzed descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively using the investment analysis
criteria approach. The results showed that the characteristics of entrepreneurs in the
productive age group were 39 years old, 17 years of education equivalent to S1, 2
years of business experience and 4 family members. The business profile of the oil
palm platform was analyzed using a qualitative descriptive covering business scale,
business capital, and workforce. The platform business from non-financial aspects
such as market, technical, management, and organizational, legal, social and
environmental aspects was declared feasible. The financial aspect of the oil palm
platform business is feasible based on investment criteria with an NPV value of
10,999,252,876> 0, IRR 89% > discount rate (12%), Net B/C 5.25> 1 and Payback
Period 1 year 4 Months 2 Days < from the age of the project is feasible to work on.
Based on the results of a sensitivity analysis using the Switching Value method, the
Chesa Quin palm oil platform business is more sensitive to a decrease in capacity of
5.17% which causes the NPV to decrease by 97.88% from the base value.
