Abstrak
Fokus penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi bisa dijadikan salah
satu cara untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh seorang guru. Untuk bisa mewujudkan
hal tersebut, seorang guru perlu memahami dan mimiliki kemampuan Technological Pedagogical Content
Knowledge (TPACK) yang merupakan pengembangan dari Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK)-nya
Shulman (1986). TPACK merupakan pengetahuan untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam pengajaran
materi tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru biologi di SMA dalam aspek
TPACK. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik cluster sampling . Sampel
yang digunakan adalah 3 guru biologi di SMA Negeri 1 Kupang

PjBL berlandaskan prinsip konstruktivisme, dan menempatkan siswa sebagai subyek
belajar yang aktif. PjBL memberi kesempatan siswa mengkonstruksi dan membangun
pengetahuannya melalui tahapan proyek yang dirancang secara sistematis (Bell, 2010).
Menurut Mahasneh dan Alwan (2018), PjBL menjadikan pengetahuan yang diperoleh
menjadi lebih bermakna…… PjBL melibatkan siswa dalam penyelidikan mendalam untuk
membangun pengetahuan, serta didukung oleh metode dan teknologi yang membantu siswa
menyelesaikan tugas secara mandiri (Quint & Condliffe, 2018).

Rancangan Penelitian
Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi eksperimen, dengan the pretest-posttest non
equivalent group design (Cohen, Manion & Morrison, 2018). Variabel bebas dalam penelitian
ini yaitu model pembelajaran, variabel moderator gender, dan variabel terikat pemahaman
Nature of Science (NOS). Pembelajaran terbagi dalam 3 kelas yaitu PjBL-MM, PjBL, dan
kelas kontrol (diskusi dan penugasan). Desain penelitian ini disajikan pada Tabel 1.

Subyek Penelitian
Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa tingkat I Jurusan Biologi FMIPA
Universitas Negeri Semarang, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia yang menempuh perkuliahan
Pendidikan Konservasi sebanyak 5 kelas pada ………….
Instrumen Penelitian

Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini terdiri Rencana Pembelajaran Semester,
Satuan Acara Perkuliahan, Lembar Kerja, dan instrumen penilaian Nature of Science (NOS).
Instrumen tersebut sebelumnya telah diuji validitasnya oleh dua orang pakar pendidikan
dengan memberikan skor pada masing-masing komponen ………………
Data pemahaman NOS dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen penilaian NOS
standar Views of Nature of Science (VNOS) form B dari Lederman, Abd-El-Khalick, Bell, &
Schwartz (2002). Ada tujuh indikator Nature of Science yang diukur dalam penelitian ini
yaitu: (1) Sains bersifat tentatif, (2) Hasil dari inferensi, (3) Perbedaan antara teori dan
hukum, (4) Dipengaruhi sosial dan budaya, (5) Kreativitas dan imajinasi dalam sains, (6)
Berbasis empiris, (7) Sains bersifat subyektif (sarat teori). Jawaban mahasiswa diperiksa
menggunakan rubrik penilaian NOS. Pada instrumen V-NOS form B terdapat tujuh
pertanyaan terbuka secara berurutan berdasarkan tujuh indikator NOS (Tabel 2).
Analisis Data
Dilakukan uji prasyarat (normalitas dan homogenitas) menggunakan Kolmogorov-Smirnov’s
test dan Levene’s test. Statistik inferensial digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan
ANCOVA dua jalur pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji Least Significance
Difference (LSD). Analisis statistik inferensial dilakukan dengan bantuan program SPSS.
Tahapan Penelitian
Pada awal pembelajaran dilaksanakan pretest untuk memperoleh data awal
pemahaman NOS mahasiswa pada semua kelas, dan posttest dilakukan pada akhir
pembelajaran. Pembelajaran pada kelas kontrol diawali dengan kegiatan presentasi kelompok
sesuai topik, dilanjutkan diskusi, dan penugasan. …………………………….
