SISTEM KEMAS (KONTAK PRODUK
DENGAN KEMASAN)
• Kemasan primer, yaitu kemasan yang
langsung mewadahi atau membungkus
bahan pangan, kemasan ini melakukan
kontak langsung atau tersentuh dengan
bahan makanan. Missal kaleng susu, botol
minuman.
• Kemasan sekunder, yaitu kemasan yang
fungsi utamanya melindungi kemasan lain
yang berada didalamnya. Misalnya kotak
karton wadah susu dalam kaleng.
• Kemasan tersier, kuartener yaitu kemasan
yang digunaknauntuk mengemas setelah
kemasan primer. Misalnya apel yang sudah
dibungkus plastik, dimasukkan ke dalam
kardus kemudian dimasukkan ke dalam
kotak dan setelah itu ke dalam peti kemas.
