Reflexive Pronoun

Reflexive Pronoun used when the subject performs an action on

himself. Reflexive pronoun consist of 7 kinds : myself, yourself,
himself, herself, itself, ourselves, themselves.
Example :
- "They prepared the dinner for themselves.”
- “Jerry went to the movie by himself.”
- “She cooked a noodle for herself.”
 Demonstrative Pronoun
Demonstrative Pronoun: Used to show or highlight an object or person.
There are 4 kinds of Demonstrative Pronoun : this, that, these, those
1. This : digunakan untuk menunjuk sesuatu yang dekat dan tidak dapat
disentuh. Example : This is my phone
2. These : digunakan untuk menunjuk sesuatu yang dekat dan dapat disentuh
oleh lebih dari satu/jamak. Example : These are my phones
3. That : digunakan untuk menunjuk sesuatu yang jauh dan tidak dapat
disentuh. Example : That is my book
4. Those : digunakan untuk menunjuk sesuatu yang jauh dan tidak dapat
disentuh oleh lebih dari satu/jamak. Example : Those are my books
 Interrogative Pronoun

Interrogative Pronoun : pronoun that used to ask about something.

interrogative pronouns consist of 5 kinds: what, who, whom, whose, which.
1. What : digunakan untuk menanyakan suatu informasi orang atau benda
2. Who : digunakan untuk menanyakan orang sebagai subject
3. Whom : digunakan untuk menanyakan orang sebagai object
4. Whose : digunakan untuk menanyakan “milik siapa” dan “punya siapa”
5. Which : digunakan untuk menanyakan pilihan yang belum pasti
Example of Interrogative Pronoun
1. What : What are we going to cook Mom?
2. Who (Subject) :
- Who made this chocolate cake ?
- My Mom made this cake
3. Whom (Object) :
- For whom did your mom make this cake?
- It is for My Brother
4. Whose : Whose fried rice is this?
5. Which : Which one do you prefer for lunch? Fried rice or meatball?
