Materi Concord
Sebelum anda melihat soal dan pembahasan tentang concord, apakah anda sudah
paham apa yang dimaksud dengan concord? Concord adalah kesesuaian antara subjek
dan predikat menurutkaidah bahasa inggris yang benar. Nah, syarat pembentukan suatu
kalimat dalam bahasa inggris harus mempunyai subjek dan predikat (S+P). Dalam suatu
kalimat bahasa Inggris, tidak boleh ada dua predikat untuk satu subjek.

B. Contoh Concord
Untuk lebih memahami materi concord, berikut ini beberapa contoh kalimat concord :
1. The danger of narcotics makes parents feel worried. Danger= tunggal, makes=
tunggal
2. Some students are in the classroom. Students=jamak, are= jamak
3. Rabbits eat grass. Rabbits= jamak, eat= jamak
4. A rabbit eats grass. Rabbit=tunggal, eats=tunggal
