ABSTRAK

HUBUNGAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR DENGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR PADA ANAK


SEKOLAH DASAR di SDN MENTIKAN 4 KOTA MOJOKERTO

Motivasi salah satu faktor psikologis yang dapat mempengaruhi proses belajar siswa,
karena dalam motivasi terdapat unsur-unsur yang dinamis dalam belajar seperti perasaan,
perhatian, kemauan dan lain-lain sehingga motivasi memang sangat besar pengaruhnya di
dalam kehidupan seseorang.. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan
motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar pada anak sekolah dasar di SDN Mentikan 4 Kota
Mojokerto. Desain penelitian Cross Sectional. Populasinya semua siswa yakni 199 siswa,
sampling yang digunakan adalah tehnik Stratified random sampling, sampel sebanyak 135
responden. Instrumen motivasi belajar menggunakan lembar observasi, sedangkan instrumen
prestasi belajar menggunakan lembar observasi nilai raport. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada
tanggal 18 Agustus-01 September. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar responden
yang motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar dengan kriteria sangat baik yaitu sebanyak 63
responden (46,7%). Hasil uji statistic Spearman Rank (Rho) diperoleh hasil ρ = 0,00, < α =
0,05. Sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima artinya ada hubungan motivasi belajar dengan
prestasi belajar pada anak sekolah dasar di SDN Mentikan 4 Kota Mojokerto. Sebagai motivasi
belajar dan prestasi belajar karena didalam motivasi belajar dari diri sendiri dan lingkungan
sekitar dapat memicu atau mencapai suatu proses peningkatan prestasi belajar jadi semakin
tinggi motivasi belajar anak maka semakin tinggi prestasi belajar, selain itu faktor dukungan
dari orang tua dan faktor lingkungan yang kondusif juga dapat mempengaruhi keberhasilan
prestasi belajar dengan kriteria sangat baik.

THE RELATIONSHIP OF LEARNING MOTIVATION AND LEARNING


ACHIEVEMENT IN PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN IN SDN MENTIKAN 4
KOTA MOJOKERTO

Motivation is one of the psychological factors that can affect the learning process of
students, because in motivation there are dynamic elements in learning such as feelings,
attention, willingness and others so that motivation has a very big influence on a person's life.
The purpose of this study is to know the relationship between learning motivation and learning
achievement in elementary school children at SDN Mhentian 4 Kota Mojokerto. Cross
Sectional Research Design. The population of all students is 199 students, the sampling used
is the stratified random sampling technique, a sample of 133 respondents. The learning
motivation instrument used the observation sheet, while the learning achievement instrument
used the report card observation sheet. This research was conducted on 18 August-01
September 2020. The results showed that most of the respondents who were motivated to learn
with learning achievement with very good criteria were 63 respondents (46.7%). The results of
the Spearman Rank (Rho) statistical test showed that ρ = 0.00, <α = 0.05. So that H0 is rejected
and H1 is accepted, it means that there is a relationship between learning motivation and
learning achievement in elementary school children at SDN Mentian 4 Mojokerto City. As
learning motivation and learning achievement because in the motivation to learn from yourself
and the surrounding environment it can trigger or achieve a process of increasing learning
achievement so the higher the child's learning motivation, the higher the learning achievement,
besides the support factor from parents and a conducive environmental factor as well. can affect
the success of learning achievement with very good criteria.
