ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini berfokus pada pembahasan tata kelola Badan Usaha Milik Desa
(BUMDes) Danar di Kabupaten Garut. Praktik ini menunjukkan bahwa
pengelolaan BUMDes oleh pemerintah desa masih pada tahap pengembangan.
Pengelolaan BUMDEs Danar Garut secara umum dapat dikatakan baik, walaupun
terdapat beberapa pratik yang menyimpang. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep
Good Corporate Governance, dengan mengandalkan lima variabel sebagai pisau
analisis pengelolaan BUMDes yaitu Transparasi, Akuntabilitas, Responsibilitas,
Kemandirian, dan kesetaraan. Teknik pengambilan data pada penelitian ini
melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini
menunjukkan pertama, bahwa secara umumu pengelolaan BUMDEs Danar telah
baik. Praktik pengelolaan bumdes oleh pengurus, telah memenuhi hampir
keseluruhan varibel yang digunakan. Kedua, kehadiran BUMDes danar Garut
memberikan banyak kebermanfaatan bagi masyarakat. Ketiga, kendati
pengelolaan telah berjalan cukup baik, berdirinya BUMDes danar Garut tidak
berdasarkan inisiasi masyarakat desa, melainkan pihak ketiga yang menjadi motor
penggerak berdirinya BUMDes. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menyimpulkan
bentuk pengelolaan yang dilakukan oleh BUMDes danar yang mungkin akan
dapat dilakukan pada BUMDes lain.

ABSTRACT
This research focuses on the discussion of the governance of business entity
belonging to the village (BUMDes) Danar in Garut. This practice shows that the
management of the BUMDes by the Government of the village is still in the
development stage. The management of BUMDEs Danar Arrowroot in General
can be said to be good, although there are some practice distorted. This research
uses the concept of Good Corporate Governance, by relying on five variables as

results of this study show that in management BUMDes Danar has been good.
