Al Brown was very good at fixing things around the house when they broke. One day he
went to another city to do some work there, and his wife was alone in the house. While Mr.
Brown was away, one of the faucets on the bathtub broke. Mrs. Brown didn’t know much about
fixing broken faucets, so she telephoned a plumber.
The plumber came to the house that afternoon and fixed the faucet in a few minutes.
When he finished, he gave Mrs. Brown his bill for the work.
She looked at it for several seconds and then said,”your prices are very high, aren’t they?
Do you know, the doctor costs less than this when he comes to the house?”
“Yes, I know,” answered the plumber.”I know that very well, because I was a doctor until
I was lucky enough to find this job a few months ago.”

On Wednesday, my students and I went to Yogyakarta. We stayed at Dirgahayu Hotel which is
not far from Malioboro.
On Thursday, we visited the temples in Prambanan. There are three big temples, the Brahmana,
Syiwa and Wisnu temples. They are really amazing. We visited only Brahmana and Syiwa
temples, because Wisnu temple is being renovated.
On Friday morning we went to Yogya Kraton. We spent about two hours there. We were lucky
because we were led by a smart and friendly guide. Then we continued our journey to
Borobudur. We arrived there at four p.m. At 5 p.m. we heard the announcement that Borobudur
gate would be closed.
In the evening we left for Jakarta by wisata bus.

The largest animal alive is the blue whale. Fully grown , these great creatures reach length of
over 30 meters and weigh as much as twenty four large elephants, or more than 1,500 men.
The heart of a blue whale is more than a meter in diameter.
The blue whale is not a fish, even though it depends its entire life in the sea. Whales are
mammals, just like us. A mother whale gives birth to a live baby whale, not an egg. She feeds her
baby with her own milk. While fish are clod-blooded, whales are warm-blooded, and the have
lungs and breathe air, like us.
For all its size, a blue whale feeds mainly on tiny shrimps. It is harmless to man. Unfortunately
for the blue whales, men are not harmless to them. So many blue whales are hunted and killed
that very few of these magnificent animals are now left alive.

departures will board in the main terminal building, at gates A, B, and C. All domestic
arrivals will deplane outside the airport tarmac, and passengers will be bussed into the
main terminal. International flights will depart and arrive at the annex terminal, gates D,
E, F, and G. To get to the annex terminal, take the airport subway, which boards in the
lower level near gate A. It leaves every 10 minutes.
We thank you for your patience as we expand the airport to serve you better. Expansion
work will last approximately ten weeks. For more information about the project, visit
one of the information kiosks located throughout the airport, or call our special hotline at

BAGHDAD (Reuters) – Six U.S. soldiers were killed by a blast north of Baghdad on Monday,
the U.S. military said on Tuesday, in one of the single deadliest ground attacks against American
forces in Iraq in months.
Three other soldiers were wounded after an explosion went off near their vehicles in the province
of Salahaddin, the military said in a statement, without giving details. Salahaddin is a Sunni Arab
insurgent stronghold.
More than 3,170 U.S. soldiers have died in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003.
Iraqi and U.S. forces are in the third week of a security crackdown in Baghdad aimed at
stemming sectarian violence. U.S. military commanders have expressed concerns that insurgents
could step up attacks outside Baghdad
