Pangkal pinang, the capital of Bangka Belitung, is a busy little city, with old houses from the colonial era. One historic building that was
occupied by Soekarno, later Indonesia’s first President, and other revolutionary leaders during their internal exile, is now Thin Museum.
The island is also full of Confucian temples, or Klenteng; they seem to be everywhere in Bangka. The presence of ethnic Chinese in
the province, most of whom follow the Confucian faith, has its own fascinating history.

One of the most popular tourist beaches, located 2.5 km from the city centre, has lots of seafood restaurants.
Another tourist destination nearby is the Bangka Botanical Garden, in the Ketapang area. It covers an area of 300 hectares
and combines educational tourism on organic agriculture with a marshland habitat.
Here, visitors can see the green side of Bangka, with pine trees planted in one area alongside many other tree species: bakau
(mangrove), ketapang (Singapore almond), jambu mete (cashew), and sengon (yellow mimosa), among others. The gardens are also
cultivating ornamental plants and growing around 400 dragon fruit trees.

On Wednesday, my student and I went to Yogyakarta. We stayed at Dirgahayu Hotel which is not far from Malioboro.

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesia`s new sports minister, Roy Suryo, said a conflict with regard to the national football association,
PSSI, should be resolved immediately.
On Thursday, he said the root cause of the problem should be identified. "The conflict should be resolved using correct and effective
means," he said.
He said the conflict had not been resolved because of the existence of two camps - PSSI and KPSI (Indonesia Football Saviour
Commission).
Even the former sports minister, Andi Mallarangeng, had tried to resolve the conflict, but he was not successful. Andi Mallarangeng
had resigned after his alleged involvement in a corruption case. The sports case was then given to chief minister Agung Laksono.

A long time ago, there lived on the island of Bali a giant-like creature named Kbo Iwo. The people of Bali used to say that Kbo
Iwo was everything, a destroyer as well as a creator. He was satisfied with the meal, but this meant for the Balinese people
enough food for a thousand men. Difficulties arose when for the first time the barns were almost empty and the new harvest
was still a long way off. This made Kbo Iwo wild with great anger. In his anger, he destroyed all the houses and even all the
temples. It made the balinese turn to rage.
So, they came together to plan step to oppose this powerful giant by using his stupidity. They asked Kbo Iwo to build them a
very deep well, and rebuild all the houses and temples he had destroyed. After they fed Kbo Iwo, he began to dig a deep hole.
One day he had eaten too much, he fell asleep in the hole. The oldest man in the village gave a sign, and the villagers began
to throw the limestone they had collected before into the hole. The limestone made the water inside the hole boiling. Kbo Iwo
was buried alive. Then the water in the well rose higher and higher until at last it overflowed and formed Lake Batur. The
mound of earth dug from the well by Kbo Iwo is known as Mount Batur.

Honey bees uses nectar to make honey. Nectar is almaost 80% water with some complex sugars. In fact, if you have ever
pulled a honeysuckle blossom out of its stem, nectar is the clear liquid that drops from the end of blossom.
In North America,bees get nectar from flowers like clovers, dandelions, berry bushes and fruits tree blossoms.
They use their long, tubelike tongues like straws to suck the nectar out of the flowers and they store in their “honey” stomach”.

Bees actually have two stomachs, their honey stomach which they use like a nectar backpack and their regular
Stomach. The honey stomach hold almost 70 mg of nectar and when full, it weight almost as much as the bees does.

Mini- tornado, hail strikes south Bandung

A “mini-tornado” coupled with a hail strom hit some areas in South Bandung on Wenesday afternoon for approximately 30 minutes.
The weather panicked residents as hail stones penetrated corrugated iron rooftops. The wind swirled things around while hail stones
made thudding sounds on our roof. Residents reported that the authorities had shut down the electricity in the area to prevent short
circuits.

6. Cook until a bit gravy and add beaten eggs, slices of meatballs, sausages and green onions.
