System Energy Engineer

 JOB PURPOSE
Observe energy-efficient design solutions, energy conservation measures and analysis,
prepare modelling system proses in PTVI with engineering software such as Hysis, Ansys,
Finite element and other and assist energy engineer to audit PTVI System Production related
energy generation and consumption to get high efficiency target. Assist and corrective control
system energy monitoring to meet national and international standard of engineering.

 MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Involve in engineering design, construction project, start-up/turnover, and subsequent
Operations & Maintenance procedures in PTVI related to energy projects.
• Involve in energy audit program within PTVI operation to achieve energy efficiency
program and company associated target/ KPI’s.
• Modelling PTVI System related energy generation, distribution and consumption
• Provide strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex
technicalenergy-use concepts to non-technical and non-financial people to sustain and
continuouslyimprove energy project management.
• Analyze, interpret, or create graphical representations of energy data consumption using
engineering software to get accurate information of Energy Primer consumption.
• Involve in R&D related energy and their conservation or renewable energy study.
• Involve in feasibility study and promote awareness of energy efficiency and renewable
energy opportunities at PTVI operation to determine energy use or potential energy
savings
• Observe energy savings opportunities and propose recommendation of energy
conservation measures at PTVI operation to achieve more energy efficient operation.
• Involve in architectural, mechanical or electrical analysis and or control system plans and
specifications at PTVI to evaluate energy efficiency and engineering feasibility.

 MAJOR CHALLENGES
• Communication inter department processes and resources, where reporting is not direct
• Giving understanding about energy conservation and energy efficiency campaign to
stakeholders.
• Inadequate knowledge and software related to SWAP waste analysis (Hysis, Ansys, Finite
element, Piping expert or Fathom, etc)
• Obtain auditor energy certification to LSP HAKE under BNSP acknowledgement or S2
Energy Engineering.

 REQUIREMENTS
• Indicate the minimum level of experience required to perform the job : 18-24 Month
• Master Degree : S2 Energy Engineering ( Faculty Of Industrial )
• Have a Specify Certification : POM
• Having minimum 1.5 years working experience related energy engineering study and
energy modelling.
• Moderate to advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Office e.g Excel, MS
Word,PowerPoint, engineering software.
• Knowledge of energy engineering principles to find engineering solution of energy
efficiency.
