 Contoh Kasus

•Joko memiliki modal awal 100 juta rupiah.

•Joko ingin membeli saham TLKM di harga 1000 dan titik cut loss di 900.
•Jarak harga ke titik cut loss = 10%.

1.Rugi total 1 saham yang bisa ditanggung Joko adalah 2% dari 100 jt = 2 juta rupiah.
2.Jumlah uang untuk saham TLKM maksimal yang bisa dibeli Joko adalah 2 juta rupiah / 10% = 20 juta
rupiah.
3.Dengan perhitungan ini, Joko boleh membeli saham TLKM di harga 1000 rupiah sebanyak 20 juta rupiah,
dan jika harga TLKM turun ke 900 maka Joko harus segera melakukan cut loss.
4. Joko boleh membeli 3 jenis saham dengan perhitungan seperti ini.
5.Jika Joko mengalami kerugian hingga 6 juta rupiah (6% dari 100 juta) maka Joko harus berhenti trading
hingga bulan selanjutnya.
