1. Dengan nama Allah Yang Maha Pengasih, Maha
Penyayang.
2. Segala puji bagi Allah, Tuhan seluruh alam.
3. Yang Maha Pengasih, Maha Penyayang.
4. Pemilik hari pembalasan.
5. Hanya kepada Engkaulah kami menyembah dan
hanya kepada Engkaulah kami mohon
pertolongan.
6. Tunjukilah kami jalan yang lurus.
7. (Yaitu) jalan orang-orang yang telah Engkau beri
nikmat kepadanya; bukan (jalan) mereka yang
dimurkai, dan bukan (pula jalan) mereka yang
sesat.
QS.2
1. Alif Lām Mīm.
2. Kitab (Al-Qur`ān) itu tidak ada keraguan padanya;
petunjuk bagi mereka yang bertakwa.
3. (Yaitu) mereka yang beriman kepada yang gaib,
melaksanakan salat, dan menginfakkan sebagian
rezeki yang Kami berikan kepada mereka.
4. Dan mereka yang beriman kepada (Al-Qur`ān)
yang diturunkan kepadamu (Muhammad) dan
(kitab-kitab) yang telah diturunkan sebelum
engkau, dan mereka yakin adanya akhirat.
5. Merekalah yang mendapat petunjuk dari
Tuhannya, dan mereka itulah orang-orang yang
beruntung.
6. Sesungguhnya orang-orang kafir, sama saja bagi
mereka, engkau (Muhammad) beri peringatan
atau tidak engkau beri peringatan, mereka tidak
akan beriman.
7. Allah telah mengunci hati dan pendengaran
mereka, penglihatan mereka telah ditutup, dan
mereka akan mendapat azab yang berat.
8. Dan di antara manusia ada yang berkata, “Kami

1. In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate,
Most Merciful.
2. All praise is for Allah—Lord of all worlds,
3. the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful,
4. Master of the Day of Judgment.
5. You ˹alone˺ we worship and You ˹alone˺ we ask
for help.
6. Guide us along the Straight Path,
7. the Path of those You have blessed—not those
You are displeased with, or those who are astray.
QS.2
1. Alif-Lãm-Mĩm
2. This is the Book! There is no doubt about it—a
guide for those mindful ˹of Allah˺,
3. who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and
donate from what We have provided for them,
4. and who believe in what has been revealed to
you ˹O Prophet˺ and what was revealed before
you, and have sure faith in the Hereafter.
5. It is they who are ˹truly˺ guided by their Lord, and
it is they who will be successful.
6. As for those who persist in disbelief, it is the same
whether you warn them or not—they will never
believe.
7. Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing,
and their sight is covered. They will suffer a
tremendous punishment.
8. And there are some who say, “We believe in Allah
 beriman kepada Allah dan hari akhir,” padahal
sesungguhnya mereka itu bukanlah orang-orang
yang beriman .
9. Mereka menipu Allah dan orang-orang yang
beriman, padahal mereka hanyalah menipu diri
sendiri tanpa mereka sadari.
10. Dalam hati mereka ada penyakit, lalu Allah
menambah penyakitnya itu; dan mereka
mendapat azab yang pedih karena mereka
berdusta.
11. Dan apabila dikatakan kepada mereka, “Janganlah
berbuat kerusakan di bumi!” Mereka menjawab,
“Sesungguhnya kami justru orang-orang yang
melakukan perbaikan.”
12. Ingatlah, sesungguhnya merekalah yang berbuat
kerusakan, tetapi mereka tidak menyadari.
13. Dan apabila dikatakan kepada mereka,
"Berimanlah kamu sebagaimana orang lain telah
beriman." Mereka menjawab, "Apakah kami akan
beriman seperti orang-orang yang kurang akal itu
beriman?" Ingatlah, Sesungguhnya merekalah
orang-orang yang kurang akal; tetapi mereka
tidak tahu.
14. Dan apabila mereka berjumpa dengan orang-
orang yang beriman, mereka berkata, "Kami telah
beriman." Tetapi apabila mereka kembali kepada
setan-setan (para pemimpin) mereka, mereka
berkata, "Sesungguhnya kami bersama kamu,
kami hanya berolok-olok."
15. Allah akan memperolok-olokkan mereka dan
membiarkan mereka terombang-ambing dalam
kesesatan.
16. Mereka itulah orang yang membeli kesesatan
dengan petunjuk. Maka perdagangan mereka itu
tidak beruntung dan mereka tidak mendapat
petunjuk.
17. Perumpamaan mereka seperti orang-orang yang
and the Last Day,” yet they are not ˹true˺
believers.
9. They seek to deceive Allah and the believers, yet
they only deceive themselves, but they fail to
perceive it.
10. There is sickness in their hearts, and Allah ˹only˺
lets their sickness increase. They will suffer a
painful punishment for their lies.
11. When they are told, “Do not spread corruption in
the land,” they reply, “We are only peace-
makers!”1
12. Indeed, it is they who are the corruptors, but they
fail to perceive it.
13. And when they are told, “Believe as others
believe,” they reply, “Will we believe as the fools
believe?” Indeed, it is they who are fools, but
they do not know.
14. When they meet the believers they say, “We
believe.” But when alone with their evil
associates they say, “We are definitely with you;
we were only mocking.”
15. And when they are told, “Believe as others
believe,” they reply, “Will we believe as the fools
believe?” Indeed, it is they who are fools, but
they do not know.
16. When they meet the believers they say, “We
believe.” But when alone with their evil
associates they say, “We are definitely with you;
we were only mocking.”
17. Allah will throw their mockery back at them,
 menyalakan api, setelah menerangi sekelilingnya,
Allah melenyapkan cahaya (yang menyinari)
mereka, dan membiarkan mereka dalam
kegelapan, tidak dapat melihat.
18. Mereka tuli, bisu dan buta, sehingga mereka tidak
dapat kembali.
19. Atau seperti (orang yang ditimpa) hujan lebat dari
langit, yang disertai kegelapan, petir dan kilat.
Mereka menyumbat telinga dengan jari-jarinya,
(menghindari) suara petir itu karena takut mati.
Dan Allah meliputi orang-orang yang kafir.
20. Hampir saja kilat itu menyambar penglihatan
mereka. Setiap kali (kilat itu) menyinari mereka,
mereka berjalan di bawah (sinar) itu, dan apabila
gelap menerpa mereka, mereka berhenti.
Sekiranya Allah menghendaki, niscaya Dia
hilangkan pendengaran dan penglihatan mereka.
Sungguh, Allah Mahakuasa atas segala sesuatu.
21. Wahai manusia! Sembahlah Tuhanmu yang telah
menciptakanmu dan orang-orang yang sebelum
kamu, agar kamu bertakwa
22. (Dialah) yang menjadikan bumi sebagai hamparan
bagimu dan langit sebagai atap, dan Dialah
menurunkan air (hujan) dari langit, lalu Dia
hasilkan dengan hujan itu segala buah-buahan
sebagai rezeki untukmu. Karena itu janganlah
kamu mengadakan tandingan-tandingan bagi
Allah, padahal kamu mengetahui.
23. Dan jika kamu meragukan (Al-Qur`ān) yang Kami
turunkan kepada hamba Kami (Muhammad),
maka buatlah satu surah semisal dengannya dan
ajaklah penolong-penolongmu selain Allah, jika
kamu orang-orang yang benar.
leaving them to continue wandering blindly in
their defiance.
18. They are the ones who trade guidance for
misguidance. But this trade is profitless, and they
are not ˹rightly˺ guided.
19. Their example is that of someone who kindles a
fire, but when it lights up all around them, Allah
takes away their light, leaving them in complete
darkness—unable to see.
20. They are ˹wilfully˺ deaf, dumb, and blind, so they
will never return ˹to the Right Path˺.
21. Or ˹those caught in˺ a rainstorm from the sky
with darkness, thunder, and lightning. They press
their fingers into their ears at the sound of every
thunder-clap for fear of death. And Allah
encompasses the disbelievers ˹by His might˺.
22. It is as if the lightning were about to snatch away
their sight. Whenever lightning strikes, they walk
in its light, but when darkness covers them, they
stand still. Had Allah willed, He could have taken
away their hearing and sight. Surely Allah is Most
Capable of everything.
23. Humanity! Worship your Lord, Who created you
and those before you, so that you may become
mindful ˹of Him˺.
24. ˹He is the One˺ Who has made the earth a place
of settlement for you and the sky a canopy; and
sends down rain from the sky, causing fruits to
grow as a provision for you. So do not knowingly
set up equals to Allah ˹in worship˺.
25. And if you are in doubt about what We have
revealed to Our servant,1 then produce a sûrah
like it and call your helpers other than Allah, if
what you say is true.
26. But if you are unable to do so—and you will never
be able to do so—then fear the Fire fuelled with
people and stones, which is prepared for the
disbelievers.
27. Give good news ˹O Prophet˺ to those who believe
and do good that they will have Gardens under
which rivers flow. Whenever provided with fruit,
they will say, “This is what we were given before,”
for they will be served fruit that looks similar ˹but
tastes different˺. They will have pure spouses,1
and they will be there forever.
