PENDAHULUAN
Learning Loss yaitu kemunduran secara akademis dari para peserta

didik terkait dengan kesenjangan yang berkepanjangan atau proses
pendidikan yang berlangsung secara tidak baik. Peserta didik lebih banyak
diam dan tidak aktif dalam proses pembelajaran disebabkan oleh guru
yang masih menerapakan model pembelajaran yang monoton (teacher
center), guru juga kurang menerapkan model, metode serta media yang
efektif dan inovatif sehingga peserta didik kurang termotivasi. Dengan
demikian, penulis mendokumentasikan deskripsi praktik pembelajaran
dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL).

A. SITUASI
 Kondisi yang menjadi latar belakang masalah
Kondisi sekolah secara umum : SMA Negeri 13 Surabaya adalah

salah satu sekolah negeri di bawah naungan Dinas Provinsi Jawa Timur
yang ada di kota Surabaya. Dalam penerimaan peserta didik baru,
Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Timur menerapkan system Zonasi, secara
otomatis peserta didik yang sekolah hampir 90% berasal dari sekitaran
kecamatan lakarsantri, sehingga SMA N 13 Surabaya mendapatkan
peserta didik yang heterogen dengan sikap karakter yang berbeda-beda.
Dari segi fasilitas SMA Negeri 13 Surabaya meskipun sekolah ini berada di
kota besar tetapi masalah fasilitas sarana dan prasarana masih dibilang
belum maksimal atau terbatas. Belum maksimalnya ketersediaan jaringan
wifi yang mensupport dalam hal pembelajaran masih kurang.
Ketersediaan jaringan wifi hanya bisa di akses disekitaran ruang guru, lab
computer, waka dan ruang kepala sekolah. Bukan hanya jaringan wifi
tetapi juga lcd harus secara bergantian untuk menggunakannya dengan
guru mata Pelajaran yang lain hal ini menjadi tantangan bagi guru untuk
bisa berinovasi dalam pembelajaran
